34
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ ٣٤
waylun yawma-idhin lil'mukadhibīn
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth
35
هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ لَا یَنطِقُونَ ٣٥
hādhā yawmu lā yanṭiqūn
On that Day they will be speechless
36
وَلَا یُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَیَعۡتَذِرُونَ ٣٦
walā yu'dhanu lahum fayaʿtadhirūn
and they will be given no chance to offer any excuses
37
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ ٣٧
waylun yawma-idhin lil'mukadhibīn
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth
38
هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ٣٨
hādhā yawmu l-faṣli jamaʿnākum wal-awalīn
[They will be told], ‘This is the Day of Decision: We have gathered you and earlier generations
39
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَیۡدࣱ فَكِیدُونِ ٣٩
fa-in kāna lakum kaydun fakīdūn
If you have any plots against Me, try them now.’
40
وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ ٤٠
waylun yawma-idhin lil'mukadhibīn
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth
41
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ فِی ظِلَـٰلࣲ وَعُیُونࣲ ٤١
inna l-mutaqīna fī ẓilālin waʿuyūni
But those who took heed of God will enjoy cool shade, springs
42
وَفَوَ ٰكِهَ مِمَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ ٤٢
wafawākiha mimmā yashtahūn
and any fruit they desire
