حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ التَّحْرِيشِ بَيْنَ الْبَهَائِمِ . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . وَيُقَالُ هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قُطْبَةَ .
“The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited instigating fights between beasts.” And he did not mention “from Ibn ‘Abbas” in it.
It is said that this is more correct that the (previous) narration of Qutbah.
