Yahya related to me from Malik from his paternal uncle, Abu Suhayl ibn Malik from his father that Kab al-Ahbar said, “If you want to know what a slave has with his Lord, then look at whatever good praise follows him.”

Chain Data Audit In Progress
Narrator-chain data on this hadith is being actively audited against canonical sources (sunnah.com, dorar.net). Some chains in our database may differ from the canonical isnad pending review. Treat the family tree below as a working analysis, not a definitive scholarly source.
About these grades Grades shown above reflect specific scholars' assessments of the chain of transmission (isnad). They do not judge the Prophet's words. In Sunni tradition, all Companions of the Prophet are held to be upright (al-Sahaba kulluhum 'udul); any weakness in a chain originates with a later transmitter or a break in the chain, not with the Companion.
