حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي قَدْ وَهَبْتُ لَكَ مِنْ نَفْسِي. فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ زَوِّجْنِيهَا. قَالَ
" قَدْ زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا بِمَا مَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ".
A woman came to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! I want to give up myself to you.” A man said, “Marry her to me.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “We agree to marry her to you with what you know of the Qur’an by heart.”
