وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ،
عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، قَالَ كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
إِذَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْىُ كُرِبَ لِذَلِكَ وَتَرَبَّدَ وَجْهُهُ .
‘Ubida b. Samit reported that when wahi (inspiration) descended upon Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), he felt a burden on that account and the colour of his face underwent a change.
