حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ،
عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَا رَأَيْتُ
رَجُلاً أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عُثْمَانَ مَكَانَ
الْوَجَعِ وَجَعًا .
‘A’isha reported, I did not see anyone else being afflicted with more severe illness than Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ). In the narration transmitted by ‘Uthman there is a slight variation of wording.
