Sunan Abi Dawud:Fasting (Kitab Al-Siyam):Hadith 2399
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - تَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ لَيَكُونُ عَلَىَّ الصَّوْمُ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَمَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَقْضِيَهُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ شَعْبَانُ ‏.‏

If I had some part of the fast of Ramadan to make up, I would not be able to atone for it except in Sha’ban.
