حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" أَلاَ تُرِيحُنِي مِنْ ذِي الْخَلَصَةِ " . فَأَتَاهَا فَحَرَّقَهَا ثُمَّ بَعَثَ رَجُلاً مِنْ أَحْمَسَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُبَشِّرُهُ يُكْنَى أَبَا أَرْطَاةَ .
Jarir (bin ‘Abd Allaah) said “The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said to me “Why do you not give me rest from Dhu Al Khulasah? He went there and burned it. He then sent a man from Ahmas to the Prophet (ﷺ) to give him good tidings. His surname was Artah.
