65 Translations
لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ
[He did this] to make the Quraysh feel secure
(It is a great blessing and protection from Allah) for the safety of Quraish (caretaker of the house of Allah),
For the keeping of the Qurais
SINCE THE QURAISH have been united
In order to establish acquaintenceship and respect for the Quraysh,
In acknowledgment of the established tradition of Quraysh,
[In gratitude] for solidarity among the Quraysh
(At least) for (God’s constant) favor of concord and security to the Quraysh
(Lord destroyed the People of the Elephants which event proved helpful) for making covenants of the Quraish (with their contemporary kings for trade)
For the composing of Koraish
For protection (and keeping together) of the Quraish,
For the protection of the tribe of Quraish
For the security enjoyed by the Quraysh
for the lasting security of Quraysh—
For the uniting of the Qurais
Because of giving alliances to the Quraish
For the custom of Quraysh.
For the uniting of the tribe of Koreish
For the taming (civilizing) of the Qureysh
For the custom of the Koraysh
For the union of the KOREISCH:
Under obligation to lelaf of Quraish
For the solidarity of the Quraysh,
(This concerns) the pacts made by the Quraysh for their protection.
The privilege of protection enjoyed by the Qureysh
Since the Quraysh became accustomed
For the protection of the Qurais
For the taming of Quraysh,
For the welfare of the Quray
To awake drive amongst the Quraysh
This should be cherished by Quraysh
This should be cherished by Quraysh.

To Koreish's unification/familiarity
SO THAT the Quraysh might remain secure
For the (customary) accord (Or: joining together) of Quraysh
For the taming of Qureysh
For God's favors to them during their summer and winter journeys
Because of the familiarity of the Quraish
(In gratitude) for the solidarity among ‘Quraysh’,
(The tribe of) Quraish is well known
In gratitude for solidarity among Quraysh,
The union of the people of Qoraish into one whole body
For the Quraysh’s feeling of security –
˹At least˺ for ˹the favour of˺ making Quraysh habitually secure—
For the unity of Quraysh,
FOR THE protection of Quraysh
This should be cherished by Quraish
So that Quraysh remains secure:

For domesticity of Quraish.
For the tradition of Quraish,
For the privilege (of security) cherished by Quraish
For the protection of the Qureaish-
Thy Lord destroyed the Owners of the Elephant in order to attach the hearts of the Quraish
For the secure passage of the Quraysh
For the agreements (promises) of security and safeguard (enjoyed) by Quraish
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh.
For the security of Quraish
As for the Quraish compact,
For the benefit of the Quraysh
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh
For uniting of Quraysh;
For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish

إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ
secure in their winter and summer journeys
for the safe passage (of their trade caravans) in winter and summer.
For their keeping to the journey in the winter and the summer
United to fit out caravans winter and summer
For the safety and comfort of their winter and summer journeys.
their tradition of the winter and summer caravans:
their solidarity during winter and summer journeys
Their concord and security in their winter and summer journeys
(And also) for their covenants of journeying (by taking caravans) in winter (to the south) and in summer (to the north)
their composing for the winter and summer caravan
their protection for the winter and the summer journey,
For the protection of their trading caravans in the summer and in the winter
Their security covering journeys by winter and summer
their lasting security during winter and summer journeys—
uniting them for the caravan of winter and summer
(We) gave them alliances during both their travels of winter and summer
They are getting together for the journey of the winter and the summer.
their uniting in sending forth the caravan of merchants and purveyors in winter and summer
Their covenant covers their caravans in winter and summer
their custom of the winter and summer journey
Their union in equipping caravans winter and summer
their lêlaf (travel documents to give protection) to the flight (movement of caravans) during winter and summer
their solidarity is the winter and the summer travel.
[These are] during winter and summer journeys [for the trade routes].
safe passage of their trading caravans in the winter and the summer (due to their being the caretakers of the House of Allah, and they know this fact)
accustomed to the journey of winter and summer
Their protection during their journey in the winter and the summer
their taming in equipping caravans (for traveling) in winter and summer,
Their welfare during winter and summer journeys [of their trading caravans]
They were acclimatized to the summer and winter (commercial) trips
The way they cherish the journey of the winter and summer
The way they cherish the journey of the winter and summer.
The way they cherish the journey of the winter and summer.
Their unification/familiarization (with) the winter's and the summer's travel/journey
secure in their winter and summer journeys
Their (customary) accord for the winter and summer caravan
For their taming (We cause) the caravans to set forth in winter and summer
Quraish should worship the Lord of this House
that is, their familiarity with the trips of winter and summer
Their solidarity during the regularity of the caravans journey in the winter to ‘Yemen’ and in the summer to ‘the Levant’
Renowned for their summer and winter journeys
Their solidarity during the regularity of the caravans journey in the winter to (Yemen) and in the summer to (the Levant).
And the safety of their customary trade journeys winter and summer
their security in the winter and summer journeys.
secure in their trading caravan ˹to Yemen˺ in the winter and ˹Syria˺ in the summer—
Their unity during the winter and summer journey,
their protection in their winter and summer journeyings
The way they cherish the caravans of the winter and the summer
They are secure in their Winter and Summer journeys.

Enjoying their winter and summer caravans. (To Yemen and Syria respectively, that makes them affluent)

their secure passage in the journey of winter and of summer
Their agreements (covering) journeys by winter and summer—
Their habitual winter and summer journeys.
Their security during winter and summer journeys
their cooperation on journeys winter and summer,
for their benefit the caravans go out in the winter and summer
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer
Uniting them for the journey of the winter and the summer.
Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer,

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ
So let them worship the Lord of this House
So let them worship the Lord of this house (the Ka’bah in Makkah),

Let them serve the Rabb of this city (as those who acknowledge the Truth of non-duality)!

(They should be ever grateful to God for this favour and) therefore they should worship the Lord of this House (Ka`bah at Makkah)
So let them serve the Lord of this Hous

Let them adore the Guardian Evolver of this house
so let them worship the Lord of this House,

so they must pay obedience to (the) Nourisher-Sustainer of this Al-Baiyt [The House (Ka‘ba at Makka)] —
Let them worship the Lord of this House
May (the Quraysh) worship the Lord of this House [the Ka’bah].
So they should worship the Lord of this House
therefore, let them worship the Lord of this House
So let them serve the Lord of this House
so let them serve the Fosterer of this house (Kaaba)
So let them worship the Lord of this House
So they should worship the Lord of this (Sacred) House (Ka‘ba, to give Him thanks)
So let them serve the Lord of this sanctuary

So they should worship this, the House's/Home's Lord
Let them, therefore, worship the Sustainer of this Temple
So let them worship The Lord of this House

It is He who has fed them when they were hungr

Let them worship (& venerate) the Lord of this ‘Sacred House’,
They should (devotedly) worship the Lord of this house (the ´Kaaba´ in Makkah)
Now, therefore, let them worship the Lord of this Sacred House,
Are owed to Allah, the Sovereign of this Sanctuary -AL-Ka’ba- Whom they should worship, and Him alone they should adore
So, they should worship the Lord of this house, the Kaaba,

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍ
who provides them with food to ward off hunger, safety to ward off fear
who provided them food against hunger and made them safe against fear.
Who hath fed them against hunger; and hath rendered them secure from fear
Who provided them against destitution and gave them security against fear
Who fed them (saving them from hunger) and secured them from fear.
who has preserved them from hunger and secured them from fear.
who has fed them [and saved them] from hunger, and secured them from fear
Who has provided them with food against hunger, and made them safe from fear
Who has fed them against hunger, and given them peace and security against all fear

the One Who fed them in hunger and made them safe from fear.
The same Lord who provides them with food when they are hungry and with security when they are in danger
Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear of danger
who has fed them to ward off hunger and has secured them to ward off fear.

The One Who gave them food in hunger, and bestowed them safety from a great fear

who supplieth them with food against hunger, and hath rendered them secure from fear

And secured them against alarm
to That (Allah) Who provided them food against hunger, and kept them safe against fear (of every lawlessness)

Who provided them food in the days of famine and made them secure against fear
