أَلَّا تَعۡلُوا۟ عَلَیَّ وَأۡتُونِی مُسۡلِمِینَ ٣١
allā taʿlū ʿalayya watūnī mus'limīn
do not put yourselves above me, and come to me in submission to God.”’
(It reads) Don’t be exalted against me, but come to me as Muslims.”
Saying: exalt not yourselves against me, and come unto me submissive
Do not rise against me, but come to me in submission.
(And says) “Do not be haughty with me but come to me in submission!”
Do not rise up against me, but come to me in submission."´
[It states,] ‘‘Do not defy me, and come to me in submission.’’ ’
