1 Disbelievers Warned

یُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرٌ ۝١

MunirMezyed2023

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth celebrates the praise of Allâh and declares His glory. Unto Him belongs the (absolute) sovereignty (of the heavens & earth). To Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him is due all praise. Lo! He is Most Capable of doing whatever He desires.

yusabbiḥu lillahi mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi lahu l-mul'ku walahu l-ḥamdu wahuwa ʿalā kulli shayin qadīru

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنكُمۡ كَافِرࣱ وَمِنكُم مُّؤۡمِنࣱۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِیرٌ ۝٢

MunirMezyed2023

It is He who created you, yet one of you is an Impious and another of you is a Pious . And Allâh is All-Seeing of whatsoever you do.

huwa alladhī khalaqakum faminkum kāfirun waminkum mu'minun wal-lahu bimā taʿmalūna baṣīru

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡۖ وَإِلَیۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ۝٣

MunirMezyed2023

He created the heavens and the earth for a genuine reason, shaped and perfected your shape. And to Him is the journey’s end.

khalaqa l-samāwāti wal-arḍa bil-ḥaqi waṣawwarakum fa-aḥsana ṣuwarakum wa-ilayhi l-maṣīr

یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَیَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ۝٤

He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the heavens and on the earth. And He (also) knows well whatever you divulge and whatever you conceal. Lo! Allâh is Full Aware of whatsoever is stored up in the hearts.

yaʿlamu mā fī l-samāwāti wal-arḍi wayaʿlamu mā tusirrūna wamā tuʿ'linūna wal-lahu ʿalīmun bidhāti l-ṣudūr

أَلَمۡ یَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ ۝٥

Has there not come to you the stories of those who persistently refused to yield to the Truth aforetime? So they tasted the horrific consequences of their iniquitous deeds. And they will be subjected to a painful punishment (in the Hereafter):

alam yatikum naba-u alladhīna kafarū min qablu fadhāqū wabāla amrihim walahum ʿadhābun alīmu

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأۡتِیهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَقَالُوۤا۟ أَبَشَرࣱ یَهۡدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا۟ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ۖ وَّٱسۡتَغۡنَى ٱللَّهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِیٌّ حَمِیدࣱ ۝٦

That was because their Messengers came to them with the irrefutable Signs, but they said: ”Shall we let human being lead us?” So they persistently refused to yield to the Truth and fell away from the Faith. Lo! Allâh is above all need. And lo! Allâh is Self-sufficient, Worthy of all praise.

dhālika bi-annahu kānat tatīhim rusuluhum bil-bayināti faqālū abasharun yahdūnanā fakafarū watawallaw wa-is'taghnā l-lahu wal-lahu ghaniyyun ḥamīdu

زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَن لَّن یُبۡعَثُوا۟ۚ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّی لَتُبۡعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡتُمۡۚ وَذَ ٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرࣱ ۝٧

Those who persistently refused to yield to the Truth claim that they will never be resurrected. Say: “Yes indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected, then you will be informed of whatsoever you did. Lo! This is an easy task for Allâh.

zaʿama alladhīna kafarū an lan yub'ʿathū qul balā warabbī latub'ʿathunna thumma latunabba-unna bimā ʿamil'tum wadhālika ʿalā l-lahi yasīru

فَءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنزَلۡنَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرࣱ ۝٨

Now, therefore, affirm your Faith in Allâh and His Messenger, and in the Light, which He has revealed. Lo! Allâh is Fully Aware of whatsoever you do.

faāminū bil-lahi warasūlihi wal-nūri alladhī anzalnā wal-lahu bimā taʿmalūna khabīru

یَوۡمَ یَجۡمَعُكُمۡ لِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡجَمۡعِۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِۗ وَمَن یُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَیَعۡمَلۡ صَـٰلِحࣰا یُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَیِّءَاتِهِۦ وَیُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ ۝٩

MunirMezyed2023

(Beware) of a day when He will gather you all for the Day of Assembling- that will be a day of Mutual Disillusion. As for those who affirm their Faith in Allah and strive to do righteous acts, they will be delivered from all the consequences of their iniquitous deeds and admitted into Gardens beneath which rivers flow wherein they will dwell forever. This is the ultimate success and the supreme one.

yawma yajmaʿukum liyawmi l-jamʿi dhālika yawmu l-taghābuni waman yu'min bil-lahi wayaʿmal ṣāliḥan yukaffir ʿanhu sayyiātihi wayud'khil'hu jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīm

وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَاۤ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ۝١٠

As for those who persistently refuse to yield to the Truth and deny what Allah has revealed, they will be the Denizens of Hell wherein they will dwell forever- And what a dreadful journey’s end!

wa-alladhīna kafarū wakadhabū biāyātinā ulāika aṣḥābu l-nāri khālidīna fīhā wabi'sa l-maṣīr

2 An Exhortation

مَاۤ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِیبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَن یُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ یَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣱ ۝١١

MunirMezyed2023

No calamity befalls except by the permission of Allâh. Whoever affirms his Faith in (the Absolute Oneness of) Allâh - He will enlighten the (eyes of) his heart. Lo! Allâh has full knowledge of everything.

mā aṣāba min muṣībatin illā bi-idh'ni l-lahi waman yu'min bil-lahi yahdi qalbahu wal-lahu bikulli shayin ʿalīmu

وَأَطِیعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِیعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّیۡتُمۡ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ ۝١٢

Now yield to (the commandments of) Allâh and (to what Has revealed to His) Messenger! But if it happens that you fall away (from the faith), then (bear in mind that) the only thing is incumbent on Our Messenger to convey the Message clearly.

wa-aṭīʿū l-laha wa-aṭīʿū l-rasūla fa-in tawallaytum fa-innamā ʿalā rasūlinā l-balāghu l-mubīn

ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝١٣

Allâh! There is no other God beside Him. Now, therefore, let the Monotheistic Believers of Unfeigned Faith depend on Allâh with full trust.

al-lahu lā ilāha illā huwa waʿalā l-lahi falyatawakkali l-mu'minūn

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِنَّ مِنۡ أَزۡوَ ٰجِكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَـٰدِكُمۡ عَدُوࣰّا لَّكُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُمۡۚ وَإِن تَعۡفُوا۟ وَتَصۡفَحُوا۟ وَتَغۡفِرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمٌ ۝١٤

MunirMezyed2023

O’ you who live by Faith! (those who distract you from serving Allâh) among your wives and children are your enemies. So beware of them. However, if you pardon, forget and forgive, then (you can rest assured that) Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū inna min azwājikum wa-awlādikum ʿaduwwan lakum fa-iḥ'dharūhum wa-in taʿfū wataṣfaḥū wataghfirū fa-inna l-laha ghafūrun raḥīmu

إِنَّمَاۤ أَمۡوَ ٰلُكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَـٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةࣱۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥۤ أَجۡرٌ عَظِیمࣱ ۝١٥

MunirMezyed2023

(Beware that) your wealth and children are only a trial, and Allâh is the One Who has a great reward (for you).

innamā amwālukum wa-awlādukum fit'natun wal-lahu ʿindahu ajrun ʿaẓīmu

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ وَٱسۡمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِیعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَیۡرࣰا لِّأَنفُسِكُمۡۗ وَمَن یُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ۝١٦

Now, therefore, act piously towards Allâh as much as you can, listen (attentively), yield (to what Has been revealed to the Prophet) and spend (money on charitable activities) for the sake of your own happiness. Whoever is saved from his own avarice, such are the ones who will ultimately achieve a blissful life / or gain eternal salvation.

fa-ittaqū l-laha mā is'taṭaʿtum wa-is'maʿū wa-aṭīʿū wa-anfiqū khayran li-anfusikum waman yūqa shuḥḥa nafsihi fa-ulāika humu l-muf'liḥūn

إِن تُقۡرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنࣰا یُضَـٰعِفۡهُ لَكُمۡ وَیَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِیمٌ ۝١٧

MunirMezyed2023

If it happens that you lend to Allâh a righteous loan, He will double it for you and forgive you. Allâh is Most Appreciative, Most Forbearing.

in tuq'riḍū l-laha qarḍan ḥasanan yuḍāʿif'hu lakum wayaghfir lakum wal-lahu shakūrun ḥalīmu

عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ۝١٨

MunirMezyed2023

Lo! He has full knowledge of the unseen and the visible- the Almighty, the All-Wise.
