The Criterion, The Standard 25:60

وَإِذَا wa-idhā
And when Noun
قِيلَ qīla
it is said V
لَهُمُ lahumu
to them Noun
ٱسْجُدُوا۟ us'judū
Prostrate V
لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ lilrraḥmāni
to the Most Gracious Noun
قَالُوا۟ qālū
They say V
وَمَا wamā
And what Noun
ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ l-raḥmānu
(is) the Most Gracious Noun
أَنَسْجُدُ anasjudu
Should we prostrate V
لِمَا limā
to what Noun
تَأْمُرُنَا tamurunā
you order us V
وَزَادَهُمْ wazādahum
And it increases them V
نُفُورًا nufūran
(in) aversion Noun

Yet when they are told, ‘Bow down before the Lord of Mercy,’ they say, ‘What is the Lord of Mercy? Should we bow down before anything you command?’ and they turn even further away

وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅ا۟̅ لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ أَنَسۡجُدُ لِمَا تَأۡمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمۡ نُفُورࣰا ۝٦٠ ۩

wa-idhā qīla lahumu us'judū lilrraḥmāni qālū wamā l-raḥmānu anasjudu limā tamurunā wazādahum nufūra
