وَقَالُوا۟ waqālū
And they will say V
رَبَّنَآ rabbanā
Our Lord Noun
إِنَّآ innā
Indeed, we Prep
أَطَعْنَا aṭaʿnā
[we] obeyed V
سَادَتَنَا sādatanā
our chiefs Noun
وَكُبَرَآءَنَا wakubarāanā
and our great men Noun
فَأَضَلُّونَا fa-aḍallūnā
and they misled us V
ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠ l-sabīlā
(from) the Way Noun

and ‘Lord! We obeyed our masters and our chiefs, and they led us astray

وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَاۤ إِنَّاۤ أَطَعۡنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاۤءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِیلَا۠ ۝٦٧

waqālū rabbanā innā aṭaʿnā sādatanā wakubarāanā fa-aḍallūnā l-sabīl
