6
فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ فَسَیَأۡتِیهِمۡ أَنۢبَـٰۤؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ٦
faqad kadhabū fasayatīhim anbāu mā kānū bihi yastahziūn
they deny it, but the truth of what they scorned will soon hit them
7
أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَمۡ أَنۢبَتۡنَا فِیهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجࣲ كَرِیمٍ ٧
awalam yaraw ilā l-arḍi kam anbatnā fīhā min kulli zawjin karīmi
Do they not see the earth, and what noble kinds of thing We grow in it
8
إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَةࣰۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ٨
inna fī dhālika laāyatan wamā kāna aktharuhum mu'minīn
There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe
9
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ٩
wa-inna rabbaka lahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-raḥīm
your Lord alone is the Almighty, the Merciful
10
وَإِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰۤ أَنِ ٱئۡتِ ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ١٠
wa-idh nādā rabbuka mūsā ani i'ti l-qawma l-ẓālimīn
Your Lord called to Moses: ‘Go to those wrongdoers
11
قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ أَلَا یَتَّقُونَ ١١
qawma fir'ʿawna alā yattaqūn
the people of Pharaoh. Will they not take heed?’
12
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ أَن یُكَذِّبُونِ ١٢
qāla rabbi innī akhāfu an yukadhibūn
Moses said, ‘My Lord, I fear they will call me a liar
13
وَیَضِیقُ صَدۡرِی وَلَا یَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِی فَأَرۡسِلۡ إِلَىٰ هَـٰرُونَ ١٣
wayaḍīqu ṣadrī walā yanṭaliqu lisānī fa-arsil ilā hārūn
and I will feel stressed and tongue-tied, so send Aaron too
14
وَلَهُمۡ عَلَیَّ ذَنۢبࣱ فَأَخَافُ أَن یَقۡتُلُونِ ١٤
walahum ʿalayya dhanbun fa-akhāfu an yaqtulūn
besides, they have a chargeagainst me, and I fear they may kill me.’
