Verse 37:177 in Context

173
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبُونَ ١٧٣
wa-inna jundanā lahumu l-ghālibūn
and the ones who support Our cause will be the winners
174
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِینࣲ ١٧٤
fatawalla ʿanhum ḥattā ḥīni
So [Prophet] turn away from the disbelievers for a while
175
وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ یُبۡصِرُونَ ١٧٥
wa-abṣir'hum fasawfa yub'ṣirūn
Watch them: they will soon see
176
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا یَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ ١٧٦
afabiʿadhābinā yastaʿjilūn
Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment
177
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَاۤءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِینَ ١٧٧
fa-idhā nazala bisāḥatihim fasāa ṣabāḥu l-mundharīn
When it descends on their courtyards, how ter-rible that morning will be for those who were warned
178
وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِینࣲ ١٧٨
watawalla ʿanhum ḥattā ḥīni
[Prophet], turn away from the disbelievers for a while
179
وَأَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ یُبۡصِرُونَ ١٧٩
wa-abṣir fasawfa yub'ṣirūn
Watch them: they will soon see
180
سُبۡحَـٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا یَصِفُونَ ١٨٠
sub'ḥāna rabbika rabbi l-ʿizati ʿammā yaṣifūn
Your Lord, the Lord of Glory, is far above what they attribute to Him
181
وَسَلَـٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ ١٨١
wasalāmun ʿalā l-mur'salīn
