107 فَإِنۡ عُثِرَ عَلَىٰۤ أَنَّهُمَا ٱسۡتَحَقَّاۤ إِثۡمࣰا فَءَاخَرَانِ یَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱسۡتَحَقَّ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡأَوۡلَیَـٰنِ فَیُقۡسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ لَشَهَـٰدَتُنَاۤ أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَـٰدَتِهِمَا وَمَا ٱعۡتَدَیۡنَاۤ إِنَّاۤ إِذࣰا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ۝١٠٧ fa-in ʿuthira ʿalā annahumā is'taḥaqqā ith'man faākharāni yaqūmāni maqāmahumā mina alladhīna is'taḥaqqa ʿalayhimu l-awlayāni fayuq'simāni bil-lahi lashahādatunā aḥaqqu min shahādatihimā wamā iʿ'tadaynā innā idhan lamina l-ẓālimīn If it is discovered that these two are guilty [of perjury], two of those whose rights have been usurped have a better right to bear witness in their place. Let them swear by God, ‘Our testimony is truer than theirs. We have said nothing but the truth, for that would make us wrongdoers’ 108 ذَ ٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰۤ أَن یَأۡتُوا۟ بِٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهَاۤ أَوۡ یَخَافُوۤا۟ أَن تُرَدَّ أَیۡمَـٰنُۢ بَعۡدَ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسۡمَعُوا۟ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ۝١٠٨ dhālika adnā an yatū bil-shahādati ʿalā wajhihā aw yakhāfū an turadda aymānun baʿda aymānihim wa-ittaqū l-laha wa-is'maʿū wal-lahu lā yahdī l-qawma l-fāsiqīn that will make it more likely they will give true and proper testimony, or fear that their oaths might be refuted by others afterwards. Be mindful of God and listen; God does not guide those who break His laws 109 ۞ یَوۡمَ یَجۡمَعُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَیَقُولُ مَاذَاۤ أُجِبۡتُمۡۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا عِلۡمَ لَنَاۤۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلۡغُیُوبِ ۝١٠٩ yawma yajmaʿu l-lahu l-rusula fayaqūlu mādhā ujib'tum qālū lā ʿil'ma lanā innaka anta ʿallāmu l-ghuyūb On the Day when God assembles all the messengers and asks, ‘What response did you receive?’ they will say, ‘We do not have that knowledge: You alone know things that cannot be seen.’ 110 إِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ یَـٰعِیسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ ٱذۡكُرۡ نِعۡمَتِی عَلَیۡكَ وَعَلَىٰ وَ ٰلِدَتِكَ إِذۡ أَیَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ ٱلۡقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِی ٱلۡمَهۡدِ وَكَهۡلࣰاۖ وَإِذۡ عَلَّمۡتُكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ وَٱلۡإِنجِیلَۖ وَإِذۡ تَخۡلُقُ مِنَ ٱلطِّینِ كَهَیۡءَةِ ٱلطَّیۡرِ بِإِذۡنِی فَتَنفُخُ فِیهَا فَتَكُونُ طَیۡرَۢا بِإِذۡنِیۖ وَتُبۡرِئُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَهَ وَٱلۡأَبۡرَصَ بِإِذۡنِیۖ وَإِذۡ تُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ بِإِذۡنِیۖ وَإِذۡ كَفَفۡتُ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ عَنكَ إِذۡ جِئۡتَهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنۡهُمۡ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ ۝١١٠ idh qāla l-lahu yāʿīsā ib'na maryama udh'kur niʿ'matī ʿalayka waʿalā wālidatika idh ayyadttuka birūḥi l-qudusi tukallimu l-nāsa fī l-mahdi wakahlan wa-idh ʿallamtuka l-kitāba wal-ḥik'mata wal-tawrāta wal-injīla wa-idh takhluqu mina l-ṭīni kahayati l-ṭayri bi-idh'nī fatanfukhu fīhā fatakūnu ṭayran bi-idh'nī watub'ri-u l-akmaha wal-abraṣa bi-idh'nī wa-idh tukh'riju l-mawtā bi-idh'nī wa-idh kafaftu banī is'rāīla ʿanka idh ji'tahum bil-bayināti faqāla alladhīna kafarū min'hum in hādhā illā siḥ'run mubīnu Then God will say, ‘Jesus, son of Mary! Remember My favour to you and to your mother: how I strengthened you with the holy spirit, so that you spoke to people in your infancy and as a grown man; how I taught you the Scripture and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel; how, by My leave, you fashioned the shape of a bird out of clay, breathed into it, and it became, by My leave, a bird; how, by My leave, you healed the blind person and the leper; how, by My leave, you brought the dead back to life; how I restrained the Children of Israel from [harming] you when you brought them clear signs, and those of them who disbelieved said, “This is clearly nothing but sorcery”

111 وَإِذۡ أَوۡحَیۡتُ إِلَى ٱلۡحَوَارِیِّـۧنَ أَنۡ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِی وَبِرَسُولِی قَالُوۤا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّنَا مُسۡلِمُونَ ۝١١١ wa-idh awḥaytu ilā l-ḥawāriyīna an āminū bī wabirasūlī qālū āmannā wa-ish'had bi-annanā mus'limūn and how I inspired the disciples to believe in Me and My messengers- they said, “We believe and bear witness that we devote ourselves [to God].”’

112 إِذۡ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِیُّونَ یَـٰعِیسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ هَلۡ یَسۡتَطِیعُ رَبُّكَ أَن یُنَزِّلَ عَلَیۡنَا مَاۤىِٕدَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِۖ قَالَ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ۝١١٢ idh qāla l-ḥawāriyūna yāʿīsā ib'na maryama hal yastaṭīʿu rabbuka an yunazzila ʿalaynā māidatan mina l-samāi qāla ittaqū l-laha in kuntum mu'minīn When the disciples said, ‘Jesus, son of Mary, can your Lord send down a feast to us from heaven?’ he said, ‘Beware of God if you are true believers.’ 113 قَالُوا۟ نُرِیدُ أَن نَّأۡكُلَ مِنۡهَا وَتَطۡمَىِٕنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعۡلَمَ أَن قَدۡ صَدَقۡتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَیۡهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِینَ ۝١١٣ qālū nurīdu an nakula min'hā wataṭma-inna qulūbunā wanaʿlama an qad ṣadaqtanā wanakūna ʿalayhā mina l-shāhidīn They said, ‘We wish to eat from it; to have our hearts reassured; to know that you have told us the truth; and to be witnesses of it.’ 114 قَالَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ ٱللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَاۤ أَنزِلۡ عَلَیۡنَا مَاۤىِٕدَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِیدࣰا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَایَةࣰ مِّنكَۖ وَٱرۡزُقۡنَا وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰزِقِینَ ۝١١٤ qāla ʿīsā ub'nu maryama l-lahuma rabbanā anzil ʿalaynā māidatan mina l-samāi takūnu lanā ʿīdan li-awwalinā waākhirinā waāyatan minka wa-ur'zuq'nā wa-anta khayru l-rāziqīn Jesus, son of Mary, said, ‘Lord, send down to us a feast from heaven so that we can have a festival- the first and last of us- and a sign from You. Provide for us: You are the best provider.’ 115 قَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّی مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ فَمَن یَكۡفُرۡ بَعۡدُ مِنكُمۡ فَإِنِّیۤ أُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابࣰا لَّاۤ أُعَذِّبُهُۥۤ أَحَدࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ۝١١٥ qāla l-lahu innī munazziluhā ʿalaykum faman yakfur baʿdu minkum fa-innī uʿadhibuhu ʿadhāban lā uʿadhibuhu aḥadan mina l-ʿālamīn God said, ‘I will send it down to you, but anyone who disbelieves after this will be punished with a punishment that I will not inflict on anyone else in the world.’
