The Kneeling, Crouching — Muhammad Ahmed Samira Translation

وَٱخۡتِلَـٰفِ ٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَاۤ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مِن رِّزۡقࣲ فَأَحۡیَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَتَصۡرِیفِ ٱلرِّیَـٰحِ ءَایَـٰتࣱ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ ۝٥

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And (the) difference (of) the night and the daytime, and what God descended from the sky/space from (a) provision , so He revived with it the Earth/land after its death/lifelessness, and diverting/pushing the winds/breezes (are) evidences/signs to a nation reasoning/comprehending

wa-ikh'tilāfi al-layli wal-nahāri wamā anzala l-lahu mina l-samāi min riz'qin fa-aḥyā bihi l-arḍa baʿda mawtihā wataṣrīfi l-riyāḥi āyātun liqawmin yaʿqilūn

45:6

تِلۡكَ ءَایَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَیۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَبِأَیِّ حَدِیثِۭ بَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَایَـٰتِهِۦ یُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝٦

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Those are God's evidences/signs/verses, We read/recite it on (to) you with the truth . With which information/speech after God and His verses/evidences/signs (do) they believe

til'ka āyātu l-lahi natlūhā ʿalayka bil-ḥaqi fabi-ayyi ḥadīthin baʿda l-lahi waāyātihi yu'minūn

45:7

وَیۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِیمࣲ ۝٧

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Calamity/scandal/grief to every/each liar/falsifier, sinner/criminal

waylun likulli affākin athīmi

45:8

یَسۡمَعُ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِ ثُمَّ یُصِرُّ مُسۡتَكۡبِرࣰا كَأَن لَّمۡ یَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِیمࣲ ۝٨

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

He hears/listens (to) God's evidences/verses being read/recited on (to) him, then he persists/insists arrogantly as though he did not hear/listen (to) it, so announce good news to him with a painful torture

yasmaʿu āyāti l-lahi tut'lā ʿalayhi thumma yuṣirru mus'takbiran ka-an lam yasmaʿhā fabashir'hu biʿadhābin alīmi

45:9

وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَا شَیۡءًا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِینࣱ ۝٩

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And if he knew a thing from Our evidences/verses he took it mockingly/making fun, those for them (is) a humiliating/disgracing torture

wa-idhā ʿalima min āyātinā shayan ittakhadhahā huzuwan ulāika lahum ʿadhābun muhīnu

45:10

مِّن وَرَاۤىِٕهِمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَا یُغۡنِی عَنۡهُم مَّا كَسَبُوا۟ شَیۡءࣰا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِیمٌ ۝١٠

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

From behind/beyond them (is) Hell , and it does not enrich/suffice from them a thing (from) what they gained/acquired , and nor what they took from other than God (as) guardians/allies , and for them (is) a great torture

min warāihim jahannamu walā yugh'nī ʿanhum mā kasabū shayan walā mā ittakhadhū min dūni l-lahi awliyāa walahum ʿadhābun ʿaẓīmu

45:11

هَـٰذَا هُدࣰىۖ وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِیمٌ ۝١١

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

That (is) guidance, and those who disbelieved with their Lord's verses/evidences , for them (is) a torture from painful filth/torture

hādhā hudan wa-alladhīna kafarū biāyāti rabbihim lahum ʿadhābun min rij'zin alīmu

45:12

۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَجۡرِیَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ فِیهِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ۝١٢

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

God (is) who manipulated/subjugated for you the sea/ocean for the ship/ships (to) flow/run in it with His order/command, and (for) you to wish/desire from His grace/favour , and maybe/perhaps you thank/be grateful

al-lahu alladhī sakhara lakumu l-baḥra litajriya l-ful'ku fīhi bi-amrihi walitabtaghū min faḍlihi walaʿallakum tashkurūn

45:13

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِیعࣰا مِّنۡهُۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ ۝١٣

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And He manipulated/subjugated for you what (is) in the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth all/all together from Him, that truly in that (are) evidences/signs (E) to a nation thinking

wasakhara lakum mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi jamīʿan min'hu inna fī dhālika laāyātin liqawmin yatafakkarūn

45:14

قُل لِّلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ یَغۡفِرُوا۟ لِلَّذِینَ لَا یَرۡجُونَ أَیَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِیَجۡزِیَ قَوۡمَۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ ۝١٤

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Say to those who believed: "Forgive to those who do not hope/expect God's days/times, (it is to Him) to reimburse a nation because (of) what they were gaining/acquiring ."

qul lilladhīna āmanū yaghfirū lilladhīna lā yarjūna ayyāma l-lahi liyajziya qawman bimā kānū yaksibūn

45:15

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَسَاۤءَ فَعَلَیۡهَاۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُونَ ۝١٥

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Who made/did correct/righteous deeds, so (it is) for himself, and who did bad/evil/harm so on (for) it, then to your Lord you are being returned

man ʿamila ṣāliḥan falinafsihi waman asāa faʿalayhā thumma ilā rabbikum tur'jaʿūn

45:16

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقۡنَـٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّیِّبَـٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَـٰهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ۝١٦

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And We had (E) given/brought to Israel's sons and daughters The Book , and the judgment/rule, and the prophethood, and We provided for them from the goodnesses , and We preferred/favoured them over the creations all together/(universes)

walaqad ātaynā banī is'rāīla l-kitāba wal-ḥuk'ma wal-nubuwata warazaqnāhum mina l-ṭayibāti wafaḍḍalnāhum ʿalā l-ʿālamīn

45:17

وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُم بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوۤا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَاۤءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡیَۢا بَیۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ یَقۡضِی بَیۡنَهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ فِیمَا كَانُوا۟ فِیهِ یَخۡتَلِفُونَ ۝١٧

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And We gave/brought them evidences from the matter/affair/order/command, so they did not differ/disagree/dispute except from after what came to them (from) the knowledge, oppression/transgression between them, that truly your Lord passes judgment/ends between them (on) the Resurrection Day in what they were in it differing/disagreeing

waātaynāhum bayyinātin mina l-amri famā ikh'talafū illā min baʿdi mā jāahumu l-ʿil'mu baghyan baynahum inna rabbaka yaqḍī baynahum yawma l-qiyāmati fīmā kānū fīhi yakhtalifūn

45:18

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَـٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِیعَةࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَٱتَّبِعۡهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَاۤءَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ۝١٨

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Then We made/put you on God's decreed way of life from the order/command so follow it, and do not follow (the) self attractions for desires (of) those who do not know

thumma jaʿalnāka ʿalā sharīʿatin mina l-amri fa-ittabiʿ'hā walā tattabiʿ ahwāa alladhīna lā yaʿlamūn

45:19

إِنَّهُمۡ لَن یُغۡنُوا۟ عَنكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَیۡءࣰاۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِیَاۤءُ بَعۡضࣲۖ وَٱللَّهُ وَلِیُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ ۝١٩

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

That they truly will never/not enrich/avail (help) from you from God a thing, and that truly the unjust/oppressive some of them (are) guardians/allies (of) some, and God (is) guardian/ally (of) the fearing and obeying

innahum lan yugh'nū ʿanka mina l-lahi shayan wa-inna l-ẓālimīna baʿḍuhum awliyāu baʿḍin wal-lahu waliyyu l-mutaqīn

45:20

هَـٰذَا بَصَـٰۤىِٕرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣱ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُوقِنُونَ ۝٢٠

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

That (is) mental perceptions/evidences to the people, and guidance, and mercy to a nation being sure/certain

hādhā baṣāiru lilnnāsi wahudan waraḥmatun liqawmin yūqinūn

45:21

أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱجۡتَرَحُوا۟ ٱلسَّیِّءَاتِ أَن نَّجۡعَلَهُمۡ كَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ سَوَاۤءࣰ مَّحۡیَاهُمۡ وَمَمَاتُهُمۡۚ سَاۤءَ مَا یَحۡكُمُونَ ۝٢١

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Or (did) those who earned/committed the sins/crimes think/suppose that (E) We make/put them as those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds, equal/alike (in) their life and (in) their death/time of death? It is bad what they judge/rule

am ḥasiba alladhīna ij'taraḥū l-sayiāti an najʿalahum ka-alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti sawāan maḥyāhum wamamātuhum sāa mā yaḥkumūn

45:22

وَخَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلِتُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُونَ ۝٢٢

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And God created the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth with the truth , and each/every self (is) to be reimbursed because (of) what it gained/acquired , and they are not being caused injustice to/oppressed

wakhalaqa l-lahu l-samāwāti wal-arḍa bil-ḥaqi walituj'zā kullu nafsin bimā kasabat wahum lā yuẓ'lamūn

45:23

أَفَرَءَیۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَـٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمࣲ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِۦ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَـٰوَةࣰ فَمَن یَهۡدِیهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱللَّهِۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ ۝٢٣

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Did you see/understand who took (idolized) his self attraction for desire (as) his god? And God misguided him on knowledge, and He sealed/stamped on his hearing/listening/sense of hearing and His heart/mind ,and He made/put on his eye sight/understanding a cover, so who guides him from after God? So do you not mention/remember

afara-ayta mani ittakhadha ilāhahu hawāhu wa-aḍallahu l-lahu ʿalā ʿil'min wakhatama ʿalā samʿihi waqalbihi wajaʿala ʿalā baṣarihi ghishāwatan faman yahdīhi min baʿdi l-lahi afalā tadhakkarūn

45:24

وَقَالُوا۟ مَا هِیَ إِلَّا حَیَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡیَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡیَا وَمَا یُهۡلِكُنَاۤ إِلَّا ٱلدَّهۡرُۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَ ٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا یَظُنُّونَ ۝٢٤

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And they said: "It is not except our life the present/worldly life, we die and we live, and nothing makes us die/destroys us except the long time." And (there is) no knowledge with that for them, that truly they are except assuming/supposing

waqālū mā hiya illā ḥayātunā l-dun'yā namūtu wanaḥyā wamā yuh'likunā illā l-dahru wamā lahum bidhālika min ʿil'min in hum illā yaẓunnūn

45:25

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتُنَا بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّاۤ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئۡتُوا۟ بِءَابَاۤىِٕنَاۤ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ ۝٢٥

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And if Our evidences/signs/verses are read/recited on (to) them, their argument was not except that (E) they said: "Come/bring with our fathers/forefathers if you were truthful."

wa-idhā tut'lā ʿalayhim āyātunā bayyinātin mā kāna ḥujjatahum illā an qālū i'tū biābāinā in kuntum ṣādiqīn

45:26

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ یُحۡیِیكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُمِیتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ یَجۡمَعُكُمۡ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ۝٢٦

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

Say: "God revives/makes you alive, then He makes you die, then He gathers/collects you to the Resurrection Day, no doubt/suspicion in it, and but most of the people do not know."

quli l-lahu yuḥ'yīkum thumma yumītukum thumma yajmaʿukum ilā yawmi l-qiyāmati lā rayba fīhi walākinna akthara l-nāsi lā yaʿlamūn

45:27

وَلِلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَخۡسَرُ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ ۝٢٧

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And to God (are) the skies'/space's and the earth's/Planet Earth's ownership/possession , and a day/time the Hour/Resurrection starts , that day, the wasters/annulers loose

walillahi mul'ku l-samāwāti wal-arḍi wayawma taqūmu l-sāʿatu yawma-idhin yakhsaru l-mub'ṭilūn

45:28

وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةࣲ جَاثِیَةࣰۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةࣲ تُدۡعَىٰۤ إِلَىٰ كِتَـٰبِهَا ٱلۡیَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ۝٢٨

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And you see every/each nation kneeling/sitting on (its) knees , every/each nation is being called to its Book , (and told): "The day/today you are being reimbursed (for) what you were making/doing ."

watarā kulla ummatin jāthiyatan kullu ummatin tud'ʿā ilā kitābihā l-yawma tuj'zawna mā kuntum taʿmalūn

45:29

هَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبُنَا یَنطِقُ عَلَیۡكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسۡتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ۝٢٩

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

That (is) Our Book (it) speaks/clarifies on (to) you with the truth , that We, We were transcribing/duplicating/printing what you were making/doing

hādhā kitābunā yanṭiqu ʿalaykum bil-ḥaqi innā kunnā nastansikhu mā kuntum taʿmalūn

45:30

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَیُدۡخِلُهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ فِی رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ ۝٣٠

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

So but those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds, so their Lord enters them in His mercy, that it is the winning/success , the clear/evident

fa-ammā alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti fayud'khiluhum rabbuhum fī raḥmatihi dhālika huwa l-fawzu l-mubīn

45:31

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَایَـٰتِی تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ قَوۡمࣰا مُّجۡرِمِینَ ۝٣١

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And but those who disbelieved (were told): "Were not My evidences/verses being read/recited on (to) you, so you became arrogant, and you were a nation (of) criminals/sinners?"

wa-ammā alladhīna kafarū afalam takun āyātī tut'lā ʿalaykum fa-is'takbartum wakuntum qawman muj'rimīn

45:32

وَإِذَا قِیلَ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهَا قُلۡتُم مَّا نَدۡرِی مَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنࣰّا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُسۡتَیۡقِنِینَ ۝٣٢

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And if (it) was said: "That truly God's promise (is) truth , and the Hour/Resurrection (there is) no doubt/suspicion in it." You said: "We do not know what (is) the Hour/Resurrection , that we assume/suppose except thought/assumption , and we (are) not with being sure/certain."

wa-idhā qīla inna waʿda l-lahi ḥaqqun wal-sāʿatu lā rayba fīhā qul'tum mā nadrī mā l-sāʿatu in naẓunnu illā ẓannan wamā naḥnu bimus'tayqinīn

45:33

وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَیِّءَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ۝٣٣

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And it appeared to them sins/crimes (of) what they made/did , and what they were with it mocking/making fun (of) surrounded/encircled with them

wabadā lahum sayyiātu mā ʿamilū waḥāqa bihim mā kānū bihi yastahziūn

45:34

وَقِیلَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ نَنسَىٰكُمۡ كَمَا نَسِیتُمۡ لِقَاۤءَ یَوۡمِكُمۡ هَـٰذَا وَمَأۡوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِینَ ۝٣٤

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And (it) was said: "The day/today We forget you, as/like you forgot meeting this, your day/time, and your shelter/refuge (is) the fire , and (there are) no victoriors/saviors for you."

waqīla l-yawma nansākum kamā nasītum liqāa yawmikum hādhā wamawākumu l-nāru wamā lakum min nāṣirīn

45:35

ذَ ٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذۡتُمۡ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوࣰا وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۚ فَٱلۡیَوۡمَ لَا یُخۡرَجُونَ مِنۡهَا وَلَا هُمۡ یُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ ۝٣٥

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

That (is) with that you, you took/received God's verses/evidences mockingly/making fun, and the life the present/worldly life has deceived/tempted you. So the day/today they are not brought/driven out from it, and nor they be allowed to offer reconciliation

dhālikum bi-annakumu ittakhadhtum āyāti l-lahi huzuwan wagharratkumu l-ḥayatu l-dun'yā fal-yawma lā yukh'rajūna min'hā walā hum yus'taʿtabūn

45:36

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَرَبِّ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ۝٣٦

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

So to God (is) the praise/gratitude/thanks, the skies'/space's Lord and the earth's/Planet Earth's Lord, the creations all together's/(universe's) Lord

falillahi l-ḥamdu rabbi l-samāwāti warabbi l-arḍi rabbi l-ʿālamīn

45:37

وَلَهُ ٱلۡكِبۡرِیَاۤءُ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ۝٣٧

Muhammad Ahmed - Samira

And for Him (is) the arrogance/greatness in the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and He is the glorious/mighty, the wise/judicious

walahu l-kib'riyāu fī l-samāwāti wal-arḍi wahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīm
