The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:204

ٱلْقُرْءَانُ l-qur'ānu

فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟ fa-is'tamiʿū

لَهُۥ lahu

وَأَنصِتُوا۟ wa-anṣitū
and pay attention V
لَعَلَّكُمْ laʿallakum
so that you may Prep
تُرْحَمُونَ tur'ḥamūna
receive mercy V

so pay attention and listen quietly when the Quran is recited, so that you may be given mercy.’

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ فَٱسۡتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥ وَأَنصِتُوا۟ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ ۝٢٠٤

wa-idhā quri-a l-qur'ānu fa-is'tamiʿū lahu wa-anṣitū laʿallakum tur'ḥamūn
