وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِی ٱشۡتَرَىٰهُ مِن مِّصۡرَ لِٱمۡرَأَتِهِۦۤ أَكۡرِمِی مَثۡوَىٰهُ عَسَىٰۤ أَن یَنفَعَنَاۤ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدࣰاۚ وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِیُوسُفَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُۥ مِن تَأۡوِیلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِیثِۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰۤ أَمۡرِهِۦ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ٢١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know
Abdel Haleem:
The Egyptian who bought him said to his wife, ‘Look after him well! He may be useful to us, or we may adopt him as a son.’ In this way We settled Joseph in that land and later taught him how to interpret dreams: God always prevails in His purpose, though most people do not realize it
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And he of Egypt who purchased him said unto his wife: Receive him honourably. Perchance he may prove useful to us or we may adopt him as a son. Thus we established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah was predominant in His career, but most of mankind know not
The Prophets 21:44
Noun
بَلۡ مَتَّعۡنَا هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ وَءَابَاۤءَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡعُمُرُۗ أَفَلَا یَرَوۡنَ أَنَّا نَأۡتِی ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنۡ أَطۡرَافِهَاۤۚ أَفَهُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبُونَ ٤٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? So it is they who will overcome
Abdel Haleem:
We have allowed these sinners and their forefathers to enjoy life for a long time. But do they not see how We are shrinking their borders? Is it they who will prevail
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Nay, but We gave these and their fathers ease until life grew long for them. See they not how we aim to the land, reducing it of its outlying parts? Can they then be the victors
The Poets 26:40
Noun
لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبِینَ ٤٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?"
Abdel Haleem:
‘Are you all coming? We may follow the sorcerers if they win!’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
(They said): Aye, so that we may follow the wizards if they are the winners
The Poets 26:41
Noun
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ أَىِٕنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبِینَ ٤١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?"
Abdel Haleem:
When the sorcerers came, they said to Pharaoh, ‘Shall we be rewarded if we win?’

And when the wizards came they said unto Pharaoh: Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners
The Poets 26:44

فَأَلۡقَوۡا۟ حِبَالَهُمۡ وَعِصِیَّهُمۡ وَقَالُوا۟ بِعِزَّةِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبُونَ ٤٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
So they threw their ropes and their staffs and said, "By the might of Pharaoh, indeed it is we who are predominant."
Abdel Haleem:
They threw their ropes and staffs, saying, ‘By Pharaoh’s might, we shall be victorious.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Then they threw down their cords and their staves and said: By Pharaoh's might, lo! we verily are the winners
قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِیكَ وَنَجۡعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا فَلَا یَصِلُونَ إِلَیۡكُمَا بِءَایَـٰتِنَاۤۚ أَنتُمَا وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكُمَا ٱلۡغَـٰلِبُونَ ٣٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[ Allah ] said, "We will strengthen your arm through your brother and grant you both supremacy so they will not reach you. [It will be] through Our signs; you and those who follow you will be the predominant."
Abdel Haleem:
God said, ‘We shall strengthen you through your brother; We shall give you both power so that they cannot touch you. With Our signs you, and those who follow you, will triumph.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
He said: We will strengthen thine arm with thy brother, and We will give unto you both power so that they cannot reach you for Our portents. Ye twain, and those who follow you, will be the winners
فِیۤ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُونَ ٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome
Abdel Haleem:
in a nearby land. They will reverse their defeat with a victor
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
In the nearer land, and they, after their defeat will be victoriou
وَنَصَرۡنَـٰهُمۡ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبِینَ ١١٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And We supported them so it was they who overcame
Abdel Haleem:
We helped them, so they were the ones to succeed
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And helped them so that they became the victors
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبُونَ ١٧٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome

and the ones who support Our cause will be the winners
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And that Our host, they verily would be the victors
إِن یَنصُرۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمۡۖ وَإِن یَخۡذُلۡكُمۡ فَمَن ذَا ٱلَّذِی یَنصُرُكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ١٦٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely
Abdel Haleem:
If God helps you [believers], no one can overcome you; if He forsakes you, who else can help you? Believers should put their trust in God
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
If Allah is your helper none can overcome you, and if He withdraw His help from you, who is there who can help you after Him? In Allah let believers put their trust
The Moon 54:10
Noun
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥۤ أَنِّی مَغۡلُوبࣱ فَٱنتَصِرۡ ١٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."
Abdel Haleem:
and so he called upon his Lord, ‘I am defeated: help me!’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
So he cried unto his Lord, saying: I am vanquished, so give help
قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ یَخَافُونَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِمَا ٱدۡخُلُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلۡتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمۡ غَـٰلِبُونَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوۤا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ٢٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor, "Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers."
Abdel Haleem:
Yet two men whom God had blessed among those who were afraid said, ‘Go in to them through the gate and when you go in you will overcome them. If you are true believers, put your trust in God.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Then out spake two of those who feared (their Lord, men) unto whom Allah had been gracious: Enter in upon them by the gate, for if ye enter by it, lo! ye will be victorious. So put your trust (in Allah) if ye are indeed believers
وَمَن یَتَوَلَّ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فَإِنَّ حِزۡبَ ٱللَّهِ هُمُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبُونَ ٥٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed - indeed, the party of Allah - they will be the predominant
Abdel Haleem:
Those who turn for protection to God, His Messenger, and the believers [are God’s party]: God’s party is sure to triumph
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And whoso taketh Allah and His messenger and those who believe for guardian (will know that), lo! the party of Allah, they are the victorious
وَجَاۤءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَـٰلِبِینَ ١١٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And the magicians came to Pharaoh. They said, "Indeed for us is a reward if we are the predominant."
Abdel Haleem:
The sorcerers came to Pharaoh and said, ‘Shall we be rewarded if we win?’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And the wizards came to Pharaoh, saying: Surely there will be a reward for us if we are victors
He Frowned 80:30

وَحَدَائِقَ غُلْبًا
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And gardens of dense shrubber
Abdel Haleem:
luscious gardens
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And garden-closes of thick foliag
وَإِذۡ زَیَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَإِنِّی جَارࣱ لَّكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا تَرَاۤءَتِ ٱلۡفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَیۡهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّنكُمۡ إِنِّیۤ أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوۡنَ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ٤٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah . And Allah is severe in penalty."
Abdel Haleem:
Satan made their foul deeds seem fair to them, and said, ‘No one will conquer you today, for I will be right beside you,’ but when the armies came within sight of one another he turned on his heels, saying, ‘This is where I leave you: I see what you do not, and I fear God- God is severe in His punishment.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said: No-one of mankind can conquer you this day, for I am your protector. But when the armies came in sight of one another, he took flight, saying: Lo! I am guiltless of you. Lo! I see that which ye see not. Lo! I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in punishment

The Cave 18:21
Verb
وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ أَعۡثَرۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ لِیَعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّ وَأَنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهَاۤ إِذۡ یَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ بَیۡنَهُمۡ أَمۡرَهُمۡۖ فَقَالُوا۟ ٱبۡنُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِم بُنۡیَـٰنࣰاۖ رَّبُّهُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ بِهِمۡۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ غَلَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰۤ أَمۡرِهِمۡ لَنَتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَیۡهِم مَّسۡجِدࣰا ٢١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And similarly, We caused them to be found that they [who found them] would know that the promise of Allah is truth and that of the Hour there is no doubt. [That was] when they disputed among themselves about their affair and [then] said, "Construct over them a structure. Their Lord is most knowing about them." Said those who prevailed in the matter, "We will surely take [for ourselves] over them a masjid."
Abdel Haleem:
In this way We brought them to people’s attention so that they might know that God’s promise [of resurrection] is true and that there is no doubt about the Last Hour, [though] people argue among themselves. [Some] said, ‘Construct a building over them: their Lord knows best about them.’ Those who prevailed said, ‘We shall build a place of worship over them.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And in like manner We disclosed them (to the people of the city) that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that, as for the Hour, there is no doubt concerning it. When (the people of the city) disputed of their case among themselves, they said: Build over them a building; their Lord knoweth best concerning them. Those who won their point said: We verily shall build a place of worship over them
The Believers 23:106
Verb
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتۡ عَلَیۡنَا شِقۡوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوۡمࣰا ضَاۤلِّینَ ١٠٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray
Abdel Haleem:
They will say, ‘Lord, our waywardness overcame us and we went astray
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk
The Cow 2:249
Verb
فَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِٱلۡجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُبۡتَلِیكُم بِنَهَرࣲ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنۡهُ فَلَیۡسَ مِنِّی وَمَن لَّمۡ یَطۡعَمۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّیۤ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱغۡتَرَفَ غُرۡفَةَۢ بِیَدِهِۦۚ فَشَرِبُوا۟ مِنۡهُ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡۚ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُۥ هُوَ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ قَالُوا۟ لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا ٱلۡیَوۡمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ یَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَـٰقُوا۟ ٱللَّهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةࣲ قَلِیلَةٍ غَلَبَتۡ فِئَةࣰ كَثِیرَةَۢ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِینَ ٢٤٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And when Saul went forth with the soldiers, he said, "Indeed, Allah will be testing you with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand." But they drank from it, except a [very] few of them. Then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, "There is no power for us today against Goliath and his soldiers." But those who were certain that they would meet Allah said, "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah . And Allah is with the patient."
Abdel Haleem:
When Talut set out with his forces, he said to them, ‘God will test you with a river. Anyone who drinks from it will not belong with me, but anyone who refrains from tasting it will belong with me; if he scoops up just one handful [he will be excused].’ But they all drank [deep] from it, except for a few. When he crossed it with those who had kept faith, they said, ‘We have no strength today against Goliath and his warriors.’ But those who knew that they were going to meet their Lord said, ‘How often a small force has defeated a large army with God’s permission! God is with those who are steadfast.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And when Saul set out with the army, he said: Lo! Allah will try you by (the ordeal of) a river. Whosoever therefore drinketh thereof he is not of me, and whosoever tasteth it not he is of me, save him who taketh (thereof) in the hollow of his hand. But they drank thereof, all save a few of them. And after he had crossed (the river), he and those who believed with him, they said: We have no power this day against Goliath and his hosts. But those who knew that they would meet Allah exclaimed: How many a little company hath overcome a mighty host by Allah's leave! Allah is with the steadfast
غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ ٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
The Byzantines have been defeate

The Romans have been defeate
فِیۤ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُونَ ٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome

قُل لِّلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَتُغۡلَبُونَ وَتُحۡشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ١٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place."
Abdel Haleem:
[Prophet], say to the disbelievers, ‘You will be defeated and driven together into Hell, a foul resting place
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Say (O Muhammad) unto those who disbelieve: Ye shall be overcome and gathered unto Hell, an evil resting-place
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَسۡمَعُوا۟ لِهَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَٱلۡغَوۡا۟ فِیهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَغۡلِبُونَ ٢٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And those who disbelieve say, "Do not listen to this Qur'an and speak noisily during [the recitation of] it that perhaps you will overcome."
Abdel Haleem:
The disbelievers say, ‘Do not listen to this Quran; drown it in frivolous talk: you may gain the upper hand.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Those who disbelieve say: Heed not this Qur'an, and drown the hearing of it; haply ye may conquer
Women 4:74
Verb
۞ فَلۡیُقَـٰتِلۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَشۡرُونَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا بِٱلۡءَاخِرَةِۚ وَمَن یُقَـٰتِلۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ فَیُقۡتَلۡ أَوۡ یَغۡلِبۡ فَسَوۡفَ نُؤۡتِیهِ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا ٧٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward
Abdel Haleem:
Let those of you who are willing to trade the life of this world for the life to come, fight in God’s way. To anyone who fights in God’s way, whether killed or victorious, We shall give a great reward
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward
كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَغۡلِبَنَّ أَنَا۠ وَرُسُلِیۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِیٌّ عَزِیزࣱ ٢١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Allah has written, "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might
Abdel Haleem:
God has written, ‘I shall most certainly win, I and My messengers.’ God is powerful and almighty
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Allah hath decreed: Lo! I verily shall conquer, I and My messengers. Lo! Allah is Strong, Almighty
فَغُلِبُوا۟ هُنَالِكَ وَٱنقَلَبُوا۟ صَـٰغِرِینَ ١١٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And Pharaoh and his people were overcome right there and became debased
Abdel Haleem:
they were defeated there and utterly humiliated
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Thus were they there defeated and brought low
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ یُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰلَهُمۡ لِیَصُدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَسَیُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَیۡهِمۡ حَسۡرَةࣰ ثُمَّ یُغۡلَبُونَۗ وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ یُحۡشَرُونَ ٣٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah . So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved - unto Hell they will be gathered
Abdel Haleem:
They use their wealth to bar people from the path of God, and they will go on doing so. In the end this will be a source of intense regret for them: they will be overcome and herded towards Hell
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! those who disbelieve spend their wealth in order that they may debar (men) from the way of Allah. They will spend it, then it will become an anguish for them, then they will be conquered. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto hell
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّبِیُّ حَرِّضِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ عَلَى ٱلۡقِتَالِۚ إِن یَكُن مِّنكُمۡ عِشۡرُونَ صَـٰبِرُونَ یَغۡلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَیۡنِۚ وَإِن یَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةࣱ یَغۡلِبُوۤا۟ أَلۡفࣰا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا یَفۡقَهُونَ ٦٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand
Abdel Haleem:
Prophet, urge the believers to fight: if there are twenty of you who are steadfast, they will overcome two hundred, and a hundred of you, if steadfast, will overcome a thousand of the disbelievers, for they are people who do not understand
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence
ٱلۡءَـٰنَ خَفَّفَ ٱللَّهُ عَنكُمۡ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِیكُمۡ ضَعۡفࣰاۚ فَإِن یَكُن مِّنكُم مِّا۟ئَةࣱ صَابِرَةࣱ یَغۡلِبُوا۟ مِا۟ئَتَیۡنِۚ وَإِن یَكُن مِّنكُمۡ أَلۡفࣱ یَغۡلِبُوۤا۟ أَلۡفَیۡنِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِینَ ٦٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are from you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah . And Allah is with the steadfast
Abdel Haleem:
But God has lightened your burden for now, knowing that there is weakness in you––a steadfast hundred of you will defeat two hundred and a steadfast thousand of you will defeat two thousand, by God’s permission: God is with the steadfast
