فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتࣲ مِّن نَّخِیلࣲ وَأَعۡنَـٰبࣲ لَّكُمۡ فِیهَا فَوَ ٰكِهُ كَثِیرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ١٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat
Abdel Haleem:
with it We produced for you gardens of date palms and vines, with many fruits there for you to eat
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat
إِنَّ أَصۡحَـٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ فِی شُغُلࣲ فَـٰكِهُونَ ٥٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation
Abdel Haleem:
The people of Paradise today are happily occupied
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed
لَهُمۡ فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَلَهُم مَّا یَدَّعُونَ ٥٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]
Abdel Haleem:
There they have fruit and whatever they ask for
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask
فَوَ ٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ ٤٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Fruits; and they will be honore
Abdel Haleem:
fruits- and will be honoure

Fruits. And they will be honoure
The Letter Sad 38:51
Noun
مُتَّكِءِینَ فِیهَا یَدۡعُونَ فِیهَا بِفَـٰكِهَةࣲ كَثِیرَةࣲ وَشَرَابࣲ ٥١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink
Abdel Haleem:
They will be comfortably seated; they will call for abundant fruit and drink
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein
لَكُمۡ فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ كَثِیرَةࣱ مِّنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ ٧٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
For you therein is much fruit from which you will eat
Abdel Haleem:
and there is abundant fruit in it for you to eat.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Therein for you is fruit in plenty whence to eat
وَنَعۡمَةࣲ كَانُوا۟ فِیهَا فَـٰكِهِینَ ٢٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And comfort wherein they were amused
Abdel Haleem:
many a thing in which they had delighted
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And pleasant things wherein they took delight
یَدۡعُونَ فِیهَا بِكُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِینَ ٥٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure
Abdel Haleem:
Secure and contented, they will call for every kind of fruit
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
They call therein for every fruit in safety
فَـٰكِهِینَ بِمَاۤ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ١٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
Abdel Haleem:
rejoicing in their Lord’s gifts: He has saved them from the torment of the Blaze
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Happy because of what their Lord hath given them, and (because) their Lord hath warded off from them the torment of hell-fire
وَأَمۡدَدۡنَـٰهُم بِفَـٰكِهَةࣲ وَلَحۡمࣲ مِّمَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ ٢٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire
Abdel Haleem:
We provide them with any fruit or meat they desire
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And We provide them with fruit and meat such as they desire
فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ١١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
Abdel Haleem:
with its fruits, its palm trees with sheathed clusters
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees
فِیهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةࣲ زَوۡجَانِ ٥٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds
Abdel Haleem:
With every kind of fruit in pairs

Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs
فِیهِمَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَنَخۡلࣱ وَرُمَّانࣱ ٦٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates
Abdel Haleem:
With fruits- date palms and pomegranate trees
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate
وَفَـٰكِهَةࣲ مِّمَّا یَتَخَیَّرُونَ ٢٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And fruit of what they selec
Abdel Haleem:
[there will be] any fruit they choose

And fruit that they prefe
وَفَـٰكِهَةࣲ كَثِیرَةࣲ ٣٢

And fruit, abundant [and varied]

abundant fruits

And fruit in plent
وَفَوَ ٰكِهَ مِمَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ ٤٢

And fruits from whatever they desire

وَإِذَا انقَلَبُوا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمُ انقَلَبُوا فَكِهِينَ
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting
Abdel Haleem:
joke about them when they got back to their own people
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting
Verb (1 verse)
لَوۡ نَشَاۤءُ لَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ حُطَـٰمࣰا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُونَ ٦٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder
Abdel Haleem:
If We wished, We could turn your harvest into chaff and leave you to wail
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
If We willed, We verily could make it chaff, then would ye cease not to exclaim
