46 ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمٍ ءَامِنِینَ ۝٤٦ ud'khulūhā bisalāmin āminīn “Enter them in peace and safety!”–– 47 وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِی صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَ ٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرࣲ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِینَ ۝٤٧ wanazaʿnā mā fī ṣudūrihim min ghillin ikh'wānan ʿalā sururin mutaqābilīn and We shall remove any bitterness from their hearts: [they will be like] brothers, sitting on couches, face to face 48 لَا یَمَسُّهُمۡ فِیهَا نَصَبࣱ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِینَ ۝٤٨ lā yamassuhum fīhā naṣabun wamā hum min'hā bimukh'rajīn No weariness will ever touch them there, nor will they ever be expelled.’ 49 ۞ نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِیۤ أَنِّیۤ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ۝٤٩ nabbi ʿibādī annī anā l-ghafūru l-raḥīm [Prophet], tell My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful
50 وَأَنَّ عَذَابِی هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِیمُ ۝٥٠ wa-anna ʿadhābī huwa l-ʿadhābu l-alīm but My torment is the truly painful one
51 وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَیۡفِ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ ۝٥١ wanabbi'hum ʿan ḍayfi ib'rāhīm Tell them too about Abraham’s guests 52 إِذۡ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَیۡهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمࣰا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ ۝٥٢ idh dakhalū ʿalayhi faqālū salāman qāla innā minkum wajilūn when they came to him and said, ‘Peace,’ he said, ‘We are afraid of you.’ 53 قَالُوا۟ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِیمࣲ ۝٥٣ qālū lā tawjal innā nubashiruka bighulāmin ʿalīmi ‘Do not be afraid,’ they said, ‘We bring you good news of a son who will have great knowledge.’ 54 قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِی عَلَىٰۤ أَن مَّسَّنِیَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ ۝٥٤ qāla abashartumūnī ʿalā an massaniya l-kibaru fabima tubashirūn He said, ‘How can you give me such news when old age has come to me? What sort of news is this?’
