20 إِنِّی ظَنَنتُ أَنِّی مُلَـٰقٍ حِسَابِیَهۡ ۝٢٠ innī ẓanantu annī mulāqin ḥisābiya I knew I would meet my Reckoning,’ 21 فَهُوَ فِی عِیشَةࣲ رَّاضِیَةࣲ ۝٢١ fahuwa fī ʿīshatin rāḍiyati and so he will have a pleasant lif 22 فِی جَنَّةٍ عَالِیَةࣲ ۝٢٢ fī jannatin ʿāliyati in a lofty Garden 23 قُطُوفُهَا دَانِیَةࣱ ۝٢٣ quṭūfuhā dāniyatu with clustered fruit within his reach
24 كُلُوا۟ وَٱشۡرَبُوا۟ هَنِیۤءَۢا بِمَاۤ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَیَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِیَةِ ۝٢٤ kulū wa-ish'rabū hanīan bimā aslaftum fī l-ayāmi l-khāliyat It will be said, ‘Eat and drink to your heart’s content as a reward for what you have done in days gone by.’
25 وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِیَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَیَقُولُ یَـٰلَیۡتَنِی لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَـٰبِیَهۡ ۝٢٥ wa-ammā man ūtiya kitābahu bishimālihi fayaqūlu yālaytanī lam ūta kitābiya But anyone who is given his Record in his left hand will say, ‘If only I had never been given any Recor 26 وَلَمۡ أَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِیَهۡ ۝٢٦ walam adri mā ḥisābiya and knew nothing of my Reckoning 27 یَـٰلَیۡتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلۡقَاضِیَةَ ۝٢٧ yālaytahā kānati l-qāḍiyat How I wish death had been the end of me 28 مَاۤ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنِّی مَالِیَهۡۜ ۝٢٨ mā aghnā ʿannī māliya My wealth has been no use to me
