يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحَرِّمُوا۟ طَيِّبَـٰتِ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū lā tuḥarrimū ṭayyibāti mā aḥalla l-lahu lakum walā taʿtadū inna l-laha lā yuḥibbu l-muʿ'tadīn

You who believe, do not forbid the good things God has made lawful to you- do not exceed the limits: God does not love those who exceed the limits

وَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

waqātilū fī sabīli l-lahi wa-iʿ'lamū anna l-laha samīʿun ʿalīmu

Fight in God’s cause and remember that He is all hearing and all knowing

وَلَا تُجَـٰدِلْ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا

walā tujādil ʿani alladhīna yakhtānūna anfusahum inna l-laha lā yuḥibbu man kāna khawwānan athīma

Do not argue for those who betray their own souls: God does not love anyone given to treachery and sin

وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَٱنۢبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ

wa-immā takhāfanna min qawmin khiyānatan fa-inbidh ilayhim ʿalā sawāin inna l-laha lā yuḥibbu l-khāinīn

And if you learn of treachery on the part of any people, throw their treaty back at them, for God does not love the treacherous

rabbanā innaka jāmiʿu l-nāsi liyawmin lā rayba fīhi inna l-laha lā yukh'lifu l-mīʿād

Our Lord, You will gather all people on the Day of which there is no doubt: God never breaks His promise.’

inna l-laha yudāfiʿu ʿani alladhīna āmanū inna l-laha lā yuḥibbu kulla khawwānin kafūri

God will defend the believers; God does not love the unfaithful or the ungrateful
