Abdul Hye
As for Thamud, We guided them but they preferred blindness to guidance, the destructive awful cry of disgracing punishment seized them because of their misdeeds,

Abdul Hye
They will say to their skins: “Why do you testify against us?” They will say: “Allah has caused us to speak as He causes all things to speak. He has created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return.”

Abdul Hye
You used to hide (in the worldly life with your sins and never thought) your ears, your eyes, and your skins will testify against you. Rather you thought that even Allah does not know much of what you were doing.

Abdul Hye
We have assigned intimate companions (of like nature in the world) for them who have made their past and present seem fair to them. The word (of punishment) is justified against them which has passed away (generations) of jinns and men before them. Indeed they are losers.

Among His signs, you see the earth barren; but when We send down water (rain) to it, it stirs to life and growth (of vegetations). Surely, He Who gives it life, surely, will be Able give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He has power over all things.

If We had sent this Qur’an in a foreign language other than Arabic, they would have said: “Why its Verses are not explained in details (in our language)? What (a book if) not in Arabic and (the Messenger) an Arab?” Say: “It is for those who believe, a guide and a healing. As for those who disbelieve, there is deafness in their ears, and it (the Qur’an) is blindness for them. They are those who are (as if) called from a place far away (so they neither hear nor understand).
