يَٰنُوحُ yānūḥu

ٱهْبِطْ ih'biṭ

بِسَلَٰمٍ bisalāmin

وَبَرَكَٰتٍ wabarakātin
and blessings Noun
عَلَيْكَ ʿalayka
on you Prep
and on Prep
أُمَمٍ umamin
the nations Noun
from those Prep
مَّعَكَ maʿaka
with you Noun
وَأُمَمٌ wa-umamun
But (to other) nations Noun
We will grant enjoyment V
ثُمَّ thumma
then Prep
will touch them V
from Us Prep
عَذَابٌ ʿadhābun
a punishment Noun
أَلِيمٌ alīmun
painful Noun

And it was said, ‘Noah, descend in peace from Us, with blessings on you and on some of the communities that will spring from those who are with you. There will be others We will allow to enjoy life for a time, but then a painful punishment from Us will afflict them.’

قِیلَ یَـٰنُوحُ ٱهۡبِطۡ بِسَلَـٰمࣲ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكَـٰتٍ عَلَیۡكَ وَعَلَىٰۤ أُمَمࣲ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَۚ وَأُمَمࣱ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمۡ ثُمَّ یَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ ۝٤٨

qīla yānūḥu ih'biṭ bisalāmin minnā wabarakātin ʿalayka waʿalā umamin mimman maʿaka wa-umamun sanumattiʿuhum thumma yamassuhum minnā ʿadhābun alīmu
