ٱهْبِطُوا۟ ih'biṭū

بَعْضُكُمْ baʿḍukum

عَدُوٌّ ʿaduwwun
(as) enemy Noun
وَلَكُمْ walakum
and for you Noun
فِى fī
in Prep
ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi

مُسْتَقَرٌّ mus'taqarrun
(is) a dwelling place Noun
وَمَتَٰعٌ wamatāʿun
and a provision Noun
إِلَىٰ ilā

حِينٍ ḥīnin
a period Noun

But Satan made them slip, and removed them from the state they were in. We said, ‘Get out, all of you! You are each other’s enemy. On earth you will have a place to stay and livelihood for a time.’

فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ عَنۡهَا فَأَخۡرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِیهِۖ وَقُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُوا۟ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوࣱّۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرࣱّ وَمَتَـٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِینࣲ ۝٣٦

fa-azallahumā l-shayṭānu ʿanhā fa-akhrajahumā mimmā kānā fīhi waqul'nā ih'biṭū baʿḍukum libaʿḍin ʿaduwwun walakum fī l-arḍi mus'taqarrun wamatāʿun ilā ḥīni
