The Prophets 21:90

فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا fa-is'tajabnā
So We responded V

وَوَهَبْنَا wawahabnā
and We bestowed V

يَحْيَىٰ yaḥyā

وَأَصْلَحْنَا wa-aṣlaḥnā
and We cured V

زَوْجَهُۥٓ zawjahu

إِنَّهُمْ innahum
Indeed, they Prep
كَانُوا۟ kānū
used (to) V
يُسَٰرِعُونَ yusāriʿūna
hasten V
فِى fī

ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ l-khayrāti
good deeds Noun
وَيَدْعُونَنَا wayadʿūnanā
and they supplicate to Us V
رَغَبًا raghaban
(in) hope Noun
وَرَهَبًا warahaban
and fear Noun
وَكَانُوا۟ wakānū
and they were V
لَنَا lanā
to Us Noun
خَٰشِعِينَ khāshiʿīna
humbly submissive Noun

We answered him––We gave him John, and cured his wife of barrenness- they were always keen to do good deeds. They called upon Us out of longing and awe, and humbled themselves before Us

فَٱسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَهُۥ وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥ یَحۡیَىٰ وَأَصۡلَحۡنَا لَهُۥ زَوۡجَهُۥۤۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ یُسَـٰرِعُونَ فِی ٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰتِ وَیَدۡعُونَنَا رَغَبࣰا وَرَهَبࣰاۖ وَكَانُوا۟ لَنَا خَـٰشِعِینَ ۝٩٠

fa-is'tajabnā lahu wawahabnā lahu yaḥyā wa-aṣlaḥnā lahu zawjahu innahum kānū yusāriʿūna fī l-khayrāti wayadʿūnanā raghaban warahaban wakānū lanā khāshiʿīn
