God said, ‘The land is forbidden to them for forty years: they will wander the earth aimlessly. Do not grieve over those who disobey.’

قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡۛ أَرۡبَعِینَ سَنَةࣰۛ یَتِیهُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَلَا تَأۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ۝٢٦

qāla fa-innahā muḥarramatun ʿalayhim arbaʿīna sanatan yatīhūna fī l-arḍi falā tasa ʿalā l-qawmi l-fāsiqīn
