قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡۛ أَرۡبَعِینَ سَنَةࣰۛ یَتِیهُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَلَا تَأۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ٢٦
qāla fa-innahā muḥarramatun ʿalayhim arbaʿīna sanatan yatīhūna fī l-arḍi falā tasa ʿalā l-qawmi l-fāsiqīn
God said, ‘The land is forbidden to them for forty years: they will wander the earth aimlessly. Do not grieve over those who disobey.’
(Allah) said: “Indeed it (the holy land) is forbidden to them for 40 years; they will wander (in disruption) in the earth. So you don’t grieve over the disobedient people.”
Said He: verily then it is forbidden unto them for forty years, while they shall wander about in the earth, so mourn not thou over this transgressing people
(And God) said: "Then verily this land is forbidden them for forty years, and they shall wander perplexed over the earth. So do not grieve for these, the wicked people."
He said, “Indeed, that place has been forbidden to them for forty years, they will wander the earth confused... So do not grieve over those (whose faith is) corrupt.”
He said, ´The land will be forbidden to them for forty years during which they will wander aimlessly about the earth. Do not waste grief on this deviant people.´
He said, ‘It shall be forbidden them for forty years: they shall wander about in the earth. So do not grieve for the transgressing lot.’
He (God) said (passing this judgment): "Then, this (land) shall now be forbidden to them for forty years, while they shall wander about on earth, bewildered. Do not grieve over that transgressing people."
(God) said, `Verily, it (- the Holy Land) is forbidden to them for forty years. They shall wander about in the earth distracted and in confusion, so grieve not over these disobedient people.
Said He, 'Then it shall be forbidden them for forty years, while they are wandering in the earth; so grieve not for the people of the ungodly.
He (God) said: “Then it is forbidden to them for forty years, they will wander on the earth, so do not be sad for the disobedient people.”
The Lord replied: “Do not be sorry for these corrupt people, they will be punished by staying homeless and wondering in this desert for some forty years
God said, “Therefore the land will be out of their reach for forty years. They will wander in distraction through the land, but do not worry over these rebellious people
He said, “Then surely, it is forbidden for them for forty years as they wander through the land, so do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people.”
He said, 'Then, verily, it is forbidden them; for forty years shall they wander about in the earth; so vex not thyself for the sinful people.
Said Allah, “The (holy) land is therefore forbidden for them for forty years; they will wander in the earth; so do not grieve for these disobedient people.”
He said, “Then it is forbidden unto them - forty years - they will wander in the earth” Therefore be not sorrowful for the people who are the renegades.
God answered, verily the land shall be forbidden them forty years; during which time they shall wander like men astonished in the earth; therefore be not thou solicitous for the ungodly people
He (the Lord) said, "Then, verily, this land is forbidden them for forty years; in bewilderment shall they wander about in the earth; so grieve not yourself for these sinful people."
He said: 'They shall be forbidden this land for forty years, during which time they shall wander (homeless) on the earth. Do not grieve for these wicked people.
He said, "Verily the land shall be forbidden them forty years: they shall wander in the earth perplexed. Fret not thyself therefore for the ungodly people."
(Allah) said: “Then surely it (stands) forbidden to them for forty years; they will wander in the earth. So grieve not over the rebellious nation.”
He said: Truly, it is that which is forbidden to them ^for forty years.^ They will wander about the earth. So grieve not for the folk, the ones who disobey.
(Allah) said, “Truly, (the land) will be forbidden to them for forty years. Bewildered, they will wander in the (wilderness). Do not grieve over the rebellious people.”
Allah responded, "Very well, they are forbidden this land for forty years, during this time they will wander homeless on the earth, so do not grieve for these disobedient people."
Allah said: ´This land will now be forbidden to them for forty years and they will remain wandering about on the earth. Do not grieve over the condition of these transgressing people
He said: It will surely be forbidden to them for forty years -- they will wander about in the land. So grieve not for the transgressing people
He said, "So the (land) will be forbidden to them for forty years, they will wander in the earth, so do not grieve for the transgressing people."
Allah said, "So it is forbidden to them for forty years, during which time they shall suffer, wandering from place to place on the earth. Be not sad then for the transgressing people."
(The Lord) said: ‘So this (land) is forbidden to these (rebels) for forty years. (Anguished,) they will continue wandering around the earth in distraction. So grieve not, (O Musa [Moses],) over the (warning plight) of these disobedient and unruly people.
He said: "Then it has become forbidden for them for forty years, and they will be lost in the land." Do not be sorrowful over the wicked people
He said: "It has become restricted to them for forty years, and they will be lost in the land." Do not be sorrowful over the wicked people
He said: "Then it has become forbidden for them for forty years, and they will be lost in the land." Do not be sorrowful over the wicked people.
(God) said: "So that it truly is forbidden/prohibited on them forty years, they stray/wander in the earth/Planet Earth, so do not grieve on the nation the debauchers ."
Answered He: "Then, verily, this [land] shall be forbidden to them for forty years, while they wander on earth, bewildered, to and fro; and sorrow thou not over these iniquitous folk."
Said He, "Then surely it will be prohibited for them for forty years (while) they go astray in the earth. So do not feel sad about the immoral people."
(Their Lord) said: For this the land will surely be forbidden them for forty years that they will wander in the earth, bewildered. So grieve not over the wrongdoing folk
The Lord said, "The land will be prohibited to them for forty years (during all such time) they will wander in the land. Do not feel sad for the evil-doing people."
He (Allah) said, .This (land) is prohibited to them for forty years. They shall be wandering around the earth. So, do not grieve for the sinning people
The Lord said, "Indeed, the land will certainly be forbidden them for forty years, (during which) they will wander in the earth perplexed. So grieve not over the sons of disobedience.
(Their Lord said), "This land shall now be forbidden to them for the next forty years. (During that period) they will wander about in the land _ (homeless and lost in the desert). So do not grieve over the evil (rebellious) people."
The Lord said: ‘Verily, the land will certainly be forbidden for them for forty years, (during which) they will wander through the land. Now, therefore, do not grieve over those who indulge in personal disobedience extensively without repentance.’
In response Allah said: "Forbidden unto them shall this land be for forty years, wandering restlessly not knowing where to go nor in quest shall they know of what, Therefore, do not grieve O Mussa over those who grow daily more and more wicked"
Allah said, “The Holy Land is now forbidden for them. They shall roam the wilderness for forty years, so don’t worry about these sinners.
Allah replied, “Then this land is forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander through the land. So do not grieve for the rebellious people.”
He said, so it will be forbidden for them for forty years (during which) they wander the earth, so do not feel sad for the sinful people.
He said: ‘They shall be forbidden this land for forty years, during which time they shall wander homeless on the earth. Do not grieve for the iniquitous people.‘
He said, "Henceforth, it is forbidden them for forty years, during which they will roam the earth aimlessly. Do not grieve over such wicked people."
God said, "The land is forbidden to them. They will wander aimlessly for forty years, on the earth. Do not grieve over those who disobey."
God said, “The land is forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander for forty years, aimlessly about the land. Do not grieve over those who disobey.”
He said, “So it is forbidden upon them for forty lunar years. They will be wandering in the land. So do not sorrow upon the debauchees’ kinfolk.”
He (The Lord) said: ' So it (the Holy Land) will surely be forbidden to them for forty years that they will wander about in the earth, therefore do not grieve for the rebellious people
He replied, “This land shall, then, be forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander aimlessly on earth. Do not grieve for these wrongdoing folk.â€
Their Lord said, "This land will be forbidden for them for forty years. They will wander in the earth, bewildered. So grieve not over these people who keep drifting away from the Right Path."
He said: So it shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years, they shall wander about in the land, therefore do not grieve for the nation of transgressors
God said: `Verily it shall be forbidden to them for forty years; in distraction shall they wander through the land. So grieve not over the rebellious people
He said, “Then verily it shall be forbidden them for forty years, while they shall wander on the earth. So grieve not for the iniquitous people.
Allah said: "For this reason the land will be out of their reach for forty years: They will wander aimlessly through the land: But you do not feel sorry over of these defiant people."
He said, “It will be forbidden to them for forty years. They will wander in the land. So don’t feel sorrow over the rebellious people.”
He said, 'It is forbidden for them for forty years. They will wander aimlessly in the land. So do not grieve over the defiant people.'
[ Allah ] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."
He said, 'Then indeed, it is forbidden them; for forty years shall they wander about in the earth; so do not grieve for the disobedient people.'
God said: "Therefore will the land be out of their reach for forty years: In distraction will they wander through the land: But sorrow thou not over these rebellious people
