خَٰسِرِينَ khāsirīna
(the) losers Noun

and the believers will say, ‘Are these the men who swore by God using their strongest oaths that they were with you?’ All they did was in vain: they have lost everything

Arabic Text

وَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَهَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ ٱلَّذِینَ أَقۡسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمَعَكُمۡۚ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَـٰلُهُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُوا۟ خَـٰسِرِینَ ۝٥٣

wayaqūlu alladhīna āmanū ahāulāi alladhīna aqsamū bil-lahi jahda aymānihim innahum lamaʿakum ḥabiṭat aʿmāluhum fa-aṣbaḥū khāsirīn
