The Table, The Table Spread 5:53

وَيَقُولُ wayaqūlu
And will say V
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna
those who Noun
ءَامَنُوٓا۟ āmanū
believe V
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ahāulāi
Are these Noun
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna
those who Noun
أَقْسَمُوا۟ aqsamū
swore V
بِٱللَّهِ bil-lahi
by Allah Noun
جَهْدَ jahda
strongest Noun
أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ aymānihim
(of) their oaths Noun
إِنَّهُمْ innahum
indeed, they Prep
لَمَعَكُمْ lamaʿakum
(were) with you Noun
حَبِطَتْ ḥabiṭat
Became worthless V
أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ aʿmāluhum
their deeds Noun
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ fa-aṣbaḥū
and they became V
خَٰسِرِينَ khāsirīna
(the) losers Noun

and the believers will say, ‘Are these the men who swore by God using their strongest oaths that they were with you?’ All they did was in vain: they have lost everything

Arabic Text

وَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَهَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ ٱلَّذِینَ أَقۡسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهۡدَ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمَعَكُمۡۚ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَـٰلُهُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُوا۟ خَـٰسِرِینَ ۝٥٣

wayaqūlu alladhīna āmanū ahāulāi alladhīna aqsamū bil-lahi jahda aymānihim innahum lamaʿakum ḥabiṭat aʿmāluhum fa-aṣbaḥū khāsirīn
