بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
Bal tu/thiroona alhayata alddunya
Yet you [people] prefer the life of this world
Nay, (O people) you prefer the worldly life,
But ye prefer the life of this world
But no, you prefer the life of the world
But you prefer the life of the world (the lowest state of existence)!
Yet still you prefer the life of the dunya
Rather you prefer the life of this world
But you (O humankind) are disposed to prefer the life of this world
But the fact is that you people prefer the present life
Nay, but you prefer the present life
No, but you prefer this world's life,
Mankind should realize that this worldly life is worth nothing;…
No, you prefer the life of the present
Rather, youpl prefer the Earlier Life,
Nay! but ye prefer the life of this world
