1 Truth of Revelation

الۤمۤرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَایَـٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِۗ وَٱلَّذِیۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝١

Alif, Lam, Meem, Ra... These are the signs of the Book (revealed knowledge of the reality and sunnatullah), which is revealed to you from your Rabb as the Truth... But, the majority of the people do not believe.

alif-lam-meem-ra til'ka āyātu l-kitābi wa-alladhī unzila ilayka min rabbika l-ḥaqu walākinna akthara l-nāsi lā yu'minūn

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ بِغَیۡرِ عَمَدࣲ تَرَوۡنَهَاۖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلࣱّ یَجۡرِی لِأَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۚ یُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ یُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡءَایَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمۡ تُوقِنُونَ ۝٢

(The One whose name is) Allah is HU, who has raised the heavens (the unperceivable dimensions beyond matter – consciousness [the seven stations of the self]) upon nothing that you can see (by forming different dimensions based on different perception systems)! Then He established Himself above the Throne (made the qualities of the Names sovereign over the dimension of acts)! And He delegated the Sun and the Moon to manifest His command; each continuing their function for a specified term... He forms and directs (all) things with His command, He brings them into existence with all their details, so that you may attain certainty (i.e. the awareness of the manifestations of your Rabb’s Names within your essence).

al-lahu alladhī rafaʿa l-samāwāti bighayri ʿamadin tarawnahā thumma is'tawā ʿalā l-ʿarshi wasakhara l-shamsa wal-qamara kullun yajrī li-ajalin musamman yudabbiru l-amra yufaṣṣilu l-āyāti laʿallakum biliqāi rabbikum tūqinūn

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی مَدَّ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ فِیهَا رَوَ ٰسِیَ وَأَنۡهَـٰرࣰاۖ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰتِ جَعَلَ فِیهَا زَوۡجَیۡنِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِۖ یُغۡشِی ٱلَّیۡلَ ٱلنَّهَارَۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ ۝٣

And it is Hu who spread the earth (made matter/the body with the capacity to form their constituents; this isn’t about the roundness of the earth, but rather the capacity pertaining to the earth and the body, or the dimension of matter in general) and placed therein firmly set mountains (the organs of the body) and rivers (the continuous flow of knowledge nourishing the consciousness; the nervous system)... And from each fruit (product) its twin (the individual’s formless parallel beyond matter)... He transforms the night into the day (transforms the darkness of ignorance into enlightenment; the observation of the reality, with His knowledge)... In truth, there are many signs in these for people who contemplate.

wahuwa alladhī madda l-arḍa wajaʿala fīhā rawāsiya wa-anhāran wamin kulli l-thamarāti jaʿala fīhā zawjayni ith'nayni yugh'shī al-layla l-nahāra inna fī dhālika laāyātin liqawmin yatafakkarūn

وَفِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ قِطَعࣱ مُّتَجَـٰوِرَ ٰتࣱ وَجَنَّـٰتࣱ مِّنۡ أَعۡنَـٰبࣲ وَزَرۡعࣱ وَنَخِیلࣱ صِنۡوَانࣱ وَغَیۡرُ صِنۡوَانࣲ یُسۡقَىٰ بِمَاۤءࣲ وَ ٰحِدࣲ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعۡضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ فِی ٱلۡأُكُلِۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ ۝٤

And on the earth (or the body) there are neighboring continents (or organs), and gardens of grapevines and crops, and groves of palms, single and clustered... All are watered and nourished (continue their existence) with one water (through the manifestation of ONE SINGLE KNOWLEDGE throughout creation)... Yet We favor some of their fruit over others (based on what they provide). Indeed, there are signs in this for a people who use their reason.

wafī l-arḍi qiṭaʿun mutajāwirātun wajannātun min aʿnābin wazarʿun wanakhīlun ṣin'wānun waghayru ṣin'wānin yus'qā bimāin wāḥidin wanufaḍḍilu baʿḍahā ʿalā baʿḍin fī l-ukuli inna fī dhālika laāyātin liqawmin yaʿqilūn

۞ وَإِن تَعۡجَبۡ فَعَجَبࣱ قَوۡلُهُمۡ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَ ٰبًا أَءِنَّا لَفِی خَلۡقࣲ جَدِیدٍۗ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمۡۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلۡأَغۡلَـٰلُ فِیۤ أَعۡنَاقِهِمۡۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِیهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ۝٥

And if you are astonished (at our signs because you are unable to comprehend them) what is astonishing is their saying, “Will we be brought into a new creation and continue to live after we have become dust?”... They are the ones who deny the knowledge that their Rabb comprises their essence (unable to comprehend their immortality due to being composed of the immortal Names of Allah)! And they are the ones with shackles/fetters around their necks (captives to the idea that they are merely the physical body produced by the second brain in their guts)! They are the people of Fire (burning/suffering)... They will abide therein eternally!

wa-in taʿjab faʿajabun qawluhum a-idhā kunnā turāban a-innā lafī khalqin jadīdin ulāika alladhīna kafarū birabbihim wa-ulāika l-aghlālu fī aʿnāqihim wa-ulāika aṣḥābu l-nāri hum fīhā khālidūn

وَیَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّیِّئَةِ قَبۡلَ ٱلۡحَسَنَةِ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡمَثُلَـٰتُۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغۡفِرَةࣲ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلۡمِهِمۡۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِیدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ ۝٦

They look for trouble rather than expecting good things from You... (Whereas) many people (nations), who ought to have received a lesson, were punished before them. And, indeed, your Rabb is forgiving toward people despite their wrongdoing... Indeed, your Rabb is severe in recompense (in enforcing the due consequence of an offense).

wayastaʿjilūnaka bil-sayi-ati qabla l-ḥasanati waqad khalat min qablihimu l-mathulātu wa-inna rabbaka ladhū maghfiratin lilnnāsi ʿalā ẓul'mihim wa-inna rabbaka lashadīdu l-ʿiqāb

وَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡهِ ءَایَةࣱ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۤۗ إِنَّمَاۤ أَنتَ مُنذِرࣱۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوۡمٍ هَادٍ ۝٧

Those who deny the knowledge of the reality say, "A miracle should have been revealed to him from his Rabb!"... But you are only a warner... But for every people there is a Hadi (a guide to the reality).

wayaqūlu alladhīna kafarū lawlā unzila ʿalayhi āyatun min rabbihi innamā anta mundhirun walikulli qawmin hādi

2 Fall and Rise of Nations

ٱللَّهُ یَعۡلَمُ مَا تَحۡمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِیضُ ٱلۡأَرۡحَامُ وَمَا تَزۡدَادُۚ وَكُلُّ شَیۡءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقۡدَارٍ ۝٨

Allah knows what every female bears and what the wombs lose or exceed. In His sight everything is capacitated according to its purpose of creation.

al-lahu yaʿlamu mā taḥmilu kullu unthā wamā taghīḍu l-arḥāmu wamā tazdādu wakullu shayin ʿindahu bimiq'dāri

عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ٱلۡكَبِیرُ ٱلۡمُتَعَالِ ۝٩

He is Aleem over the unperceived and the perceived. He is the Kabir (possessor of infinite meanings), the Muta’ali (His might encompasses all things).

sawāon minkum man asarra l-qawla waman jahara bihi waman huwa mus'takhfin bi-al-layli wasāribun bil-nahār

سَوَاۤءࣱ مِّنكُم مَّنۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ وَمَن جَهَرَ بِهِۦ وَمَنۡ هُوَ مُسۡتَخۡفِۭ بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَسَارِبُۢ بِٱلنَّهَارِ ۝١٠

Whether one conceals his thoughts or reveals it, that which is in the darkness of the night or the brightness of the day, is all the same (for Him)!

Sawaon minkum man asarra alqawla waman jahara bihi waman huwa mustakhfin biallayli wasaribun bialnnahari

لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَـٰتࣱ مِّنۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ یَحۡفَظُونَهُۥ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُغَیِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ یُغَیِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ وَإِذَاۤ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوۡمࣲ سُوۤءࣰا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ ۝١١

He has (over all His manifestations) a system of continual/uninterrupted observation (forces – angels) who protect them, from front and back, by the decree of Allah... Indeed, Allah will not change the lifestyle of a people until they change themselves (their understanding and value judgments)! And if Allah wills a disaster for a people, there is no repelling it! Besides Allah, there is no helping friend for them.

lahu muʿaqqibātun min bayni yadayhi wamin khalfihi yaḥfaẓūnahu min amri l-lahi inna l-laha lā yughayyiru mā biqawmin ḥattā yughayyirū mā bi-anfusihim wa-idhā arāda l-lahu biqawmin sūan falā maradda lahu wamā lahum min dūnihi min wāli

هُوَ ٱلَّذِی یُرِیكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفࣰا وَطَمَعࣰا وَیُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ ۝١٢

It is HU who shows you lightning (a sudden epiphany in your brain) as fear and hope for you, and who generates heavy clouds (with knowledge and gnosis)... (This verse and the following verses depict the various states of humans via metaphors and symbols; however, many take these verses literally and assume they are referencing actual heavenly incidents.)

huwa alladhī yurīkumu l-barqa khawfan waṭamaʿan wayunshi-u l-saḥāba l-thiqāl

وَیُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ مِنۡ خِیفَتِهِۦ وَیُرۡسِلُ ٱلصَّوَ ٰعِقَ فَیُصِیبُ بِهَا مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَهُمۡ یُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِی ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡمِحَالِ ۝١٣

And the Rad (thunder – the discoveries of the Perfect Man via introspective thoughts/contemplations [The Perfect Man, Abdulkareem Al Jili]) exalts (tasbih) Him with hamd (evaluation of the corporeal worlds created with His Names, as He wills); and the angels (forces within man and the universe, also exalt Him [tasbih] and fulfill their servitude to Him) under His sovereignty... While they argue about Allah (out of their ego-based ideas), He discloses thunderbolts (the striking of the knowledge of the reality) and enables this experience to whom He wills! He is shadid’ul mihal (the possessor of the system called sunnatullah, which is enforced with intensity and not subject to any form of alteration or intervention).

wayusabbiḥu l-raʿdu biḥamdihi wal-malāikatu min khīfatihi wayur'silu l-ṣawāʿiqa fayuṣību bihā man yashāu wahum yujādilūna fī l-lahi wahuwa shadīdu l-miḥāl

لَهُۥ دَعۡوَةُ ٱلۡحَقِّۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا یَسۡتَجِیبُونَ لَهُم بِشَیۡءٍ إِلَّا كَبَـٰسِطِ كَفَّیۡهِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَاۤءِ لِیَبۡلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَـٰلِغِهِۦۚ وَمَا دُعَاۤءُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ إِلَّا فِی ضَلَـٰلࣲ ۝١٤

To HU is the invitation of Truth! Those to whom they turn and from whom they seek help besides Allah will never respond to them (because they do not exist)! (They are) like one who stretches out his hand for water, but it will not reach him (for there is no tap)! The prayer of those who deny the knowledge of the reality is only a perversion and futile!

lahu daʿwatu l-ḥaqi wa-alladhīna yadʿūna min dūnihi lā yastajībūna lahum bishayin illā kabāsiṭi kaffayhi ilā l-māi liyablugha fāhu wamā huwa bibālighihi wamā duʿāu l-kāfirīna illā fī ḍalāli

وَ̅لِ̅لَّ̅هِ̅ ̅یَ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ طَوۡعࣰا وَكَرۡهࣰا وَظِلَـٰلُهُم بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡءَاصَالِ ۝١٥ ۩

And whoever is in the heavens and the earth (matter and beyond) and their shadows (their conceptual existence – for the real and absolute existence is the Names of Allah) whether willingly or by compulsion, prostrate to Allah (they are in a state of absolute submission to the command of Allah comprising their essential reality)! (This is a verse of prostration.)

walillahi yasjudu man fī l-samāwāti wal-arḍi ṭawʿan wakarhan waẓilāluhum bil-ghuduwi wal-āṣāl

قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلۡ أَفَٱتَّخَذۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦۤ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ لَا یَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ نَفۡعࣰا وَلَا ضَرࣰّاۚ قُلۡ هَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِیرُ أَمۡ هَلۡ تَسۡتَوِی ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتُ وَٱلنُّورُۗ أَمۡ جَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاۤءَ خَلَقُوا۟ كَخَلۡقِهِۦ فَتَشَـٰبَهَ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ عَلَیۡهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُوَ ٱلۡوَ ٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّـٰرُ ۝١٦

Say, “Who is the Rabb of the heavens and the earth?” Say, “Allah”! Say, “Have you taken allies besides Him who cannot give any benefit nor harm even to their own selves?” Say, “Can the blind be equivalent to the seeing? Or the darkness be equivalent to Nur (light of knowledge)?” Or do they attribute partners to Allah who create like He creates and whose system resembles the system of Allah? Say, “It is Allah, who is the creator of all things... HU is the Wahid, the Qahhar.”

qul man rabbu l-samāwāti wal-arḍi quli l-lahu qul afa-ittakhadhtum min dūnihi awliyāa lā yamlikūna li-anfusihim nafʿan walā ḍarran qul hal yastawī l-aʿmā wal-baṣīru am hal tastawī l-ẓulumātu wal-nūru am jaʿalū lillahi shurakāa khalaqū kakhalqihi fatashābaha l-khalqu ʿalayhim quli l-lahu khāliqu kulli shayin wahuwa l-wāḥidu l-qahār

أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَسَالَتۡ أَوۡدِیَةُۢ بِقَدَرِهَا فَٱحۡتَمَلَ ٱلسَّیۡلُ زَبَدࣰا رَّابِیࣰاۖ وَمِمَّا یُوقِدُونَ عَلَیۡهِ فِی ٱلنَّارِ ٱبۡتِغَاۤءَ حِلۡیَةٍ أَوۡ مَتَـٰعࣲ زَبَدࣱ مِّثۡلُهُۥۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ یَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَٱلۡبَـٰطِلَۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلزَّبَدُ فَیَذۡهَبُ جُفَاۤءࣰۖ وَأَمَّا مَا یَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ فَیَمۡكُثُ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ یَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ ۝١٧

He sent down water (the qualities of the Names) from the sky and valleys (compositions of Names as individual forms) flow (as intellectual activity) according to their capacity (the amount of the forces in their unique composition)... That torrent carries rising foam (the material life)... And from what they heat and melt in the fire in desire of ornaments and adornments, is foam like it... But foam is thrown out as unnecessary excess... Thus Allah exemplifies the truth and the falsity... But as for that which benefits people, that remains on earth... Thus Allah gives examples.

anzala mina l-samāi māan fasālat awdiyatun biqadarihā fa-iḥ'tamala l-saylu zabadan rābiyan wamimmā yūqidūna ʿalayhi fī l-nāri ib'tighāa ḥil'yatin aw matāʿin zabadun mith'luhu kadhālika yaḍribu l-lahu l-ḥaqa wal-bāṭila fa-ammā l-zabadu fayadhhabu jufāan wa-ammā mā yanfaʿu l-nāsa fayamkuthu fī l-arḍi kadhālika yaḍribu l-lahu l-amthāl

لِلَّذِینَ ٱسۡتَجَابُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ لَمۡ یَسۡتَجِیبُوا۟ لَهُۥ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِیعࣰا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡا۟ بِهِۦۤۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ سُوۤءُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ۝١٨

For those who respond to their Rabb (who turn introspectively to their essential reality) is the best/beautiful (Paradise – living the beautiful manifestations of the Names comprising their essence)... But as for those who do not respond to Him, even if they had all that is in the earth and the like of it, they would give it to ransom themselves (from the suffering of deprivation)... The worst result of life account will be theirs... Their refuge will be Hell... What a wretched place of rest that is!

lilladhīna is'tajābū lirabbihimu l-ḥus'nā wa-alladhīna lam yastajībū lahu law anna lahum mā fī l-arḍi jamīʿan wamith'lahu maʿahu la-if'tadaw bihi ulāika lahum sūu l-ḥisābi wamawāhum jahannamu wabi'sa l-mihād

3 Good and Evil bear Reward

۞ أَفَمَن یَعۡلَمُ أَنَّمَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلۡحَقُّ كَمَنۡ هُوَ أَعۡمَىٰۤۚ إِنَّمَا یَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ ۝١٩

That which is revealed to you from your Rabb is the Truth. Is the one who can see the truth equivalent to the one who is blind to it? Only those with reason, who can contemplate in depth, can understand this!

afaman yaʿlamu annamā unzila ilayka min rabbika l-ḥaqu kaman huwa aʿmā innamā yatadhakkaru ulū l-albāb

ٱلَّذِینَ یُوفُونَ بِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا یَنقُضُونَ ٱلۡمِیثَـٰقَ ۝٢٠

Those (who reach the reality) fulfill the covenant of Allah (live according to the requirements of the knowledge of the reality manifested in their being by Allah) and they do not break their contracts (their natural disposition).

alladhīna yūfūna biʿahdi l-lahi walā yanquḍūna l-mīthāq

وَٱلَّذِینَ یَصِلُونَ مَاۤ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦۤ أَن یُوصَلَ وَیَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ وَیَخَافُونَ سُوۤءَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ۝٢١

They UNIFY what Allah orders to be UNIFIED (the state of existence in which the ‘constructed self’ and the ‘original self’ are united), and they are in awe of their Rabb (the magnificent infiniteness of the qualities of the Names) and fear bad accounts (the consequence of not giving the due right).

wa-alladhīna yaṣilūna mā amara l-lahu bihi an yūṣala wayakhshawna rabbahum wayakhāfūna sūa l-ḥisāb

وَٱلَّذِینَ صَبَرُوا۟ ٱبۡتِغَاۤءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ سِرࣰّا وَعَلَانِیَةࣰ وَیَدۡرَءُونَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّیِّئَةَ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ ۝٢٢

They were patient (in their current state), and sought the face (the paradisiacal state of existence in which the manifestations of the divine forces in one’s essential reality is experienced) of their Rabb, they performed salat and gave unrequitedly, secretly and openly from the life sustenance we disclosed to them... They nullify their wrongdoings with (following) good deeds... Theirs shall be the homeland of the future!

wa-alladhīna ṣabarū ib'tighāa wajhi rabbihim wa-aqāmū l-ṣalata wa-anfaqū mimmā razaqnāhum sirran waʿalāniyatan wayadraūna bil-ḥasanati l-sayi-ata ulāika lahum ʿuq'bā l-dār

جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ یَدۡخُلُونَهَا وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنۡ ءَابَاۤىِٕهِمۡ وَأَزۡوَ ٰجِهِمۡ وَذُرِّیَّـٰتِهِمۡۖ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ یَدۡخُلُونَ عَلَیۡهِم مِّن كُلِّ بَابࣲ ۝٢٣

(The homeland of the future is) the Paradises of Eden (a level of existence where one consciously experiences the forces of the Names in one’s essence)... They will enter there in unity (experiencing the same reality) with those who attain righteousness (amend themselves and live coherently) from among their parents, partners and offspring... And the angels will come to them from every gate (the forces required to live in that state of existence will become activated within them at every level)!

jannātu ʿadnin yadkhulūnahā waman ṣalaḥa min ābāihim wa-azwājihim wadhurriyyātihim wal-malāikatu yadkhulūna ʿalayhim min kulli bābi

سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَیۡكُم بِمَا صَبَرۡتُمۡۚ فَنِعۡمَ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ ۝٢٤

(They will say) “Assalamu alaikum (may the force pertaining to the Name Salam become activated within you) as a result of your patience... How beautiful is the final homeland!” (The word ‘homeland’ in the Hadith “One’s love for their homeland is from their faith” is a reference to this.)

salāmun ʿalaykum bimā ṣabartum faniʿ'ma ʿuq'bā l-dār

وَٱلَّذِینَ یَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِیثَـٰقِهِۦ وَیَقۡطَعُونَ مَاۤ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦۤ أَن یُوصَلَ وَیُفۡسِدُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّعۡنَةُ وَلَهُمۡ سُوۤءُ ٱلدَّارِ ۝٢٥

But those who break (because of their conditionings or misevaluation of information) their covenants (despite the absolute submission in their natural disposition by creation) and those who cut asunder what Allah orders to be unified/joined (i.e. those who assume the constructed self is separate from the original self) and those who cause corruption on the earth (by misusing their body and becoming captives to the second brain in their guts), they are the ones who will be distanced from Allah (fall far from the forces of the Names endowed within their essence)! For them is a wretched abode!

wa-alladhīna yanquḍūna ʿahda l-lahi min baʿdi mīthāqihi wayaqṭaʿūna mā amara l-lahu bihi an yūṣala wayuf'sidūna fī l-arḍi ulāika lahumu l-laʿnatu walahum sūu l-dār

ٱللَّهُ یَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَقۡدِرُۚ وَفَرِحُوا۟ بِٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَمَا ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا فِی ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعࣱ ۝٢٦

Allah increases the sustenance of life for whom He wills and decreases it for whom He wills! They rejoice and become spoiled with the worldly things, but the life of the world is merely a fleeting comfort compared to the life to come!

al-lahu yabsuṭu l-riz'qa liman yashāu wayaqdiru wafariḥū bil-ḥayati l-dun'yā wamā l-ḥayatu l-dun'yā fī l-ākhirati illā matāʿu

4 Revolution to be brought about by Qur'an

وَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡهِ ءَایَةࣱ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُضِلُّ مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَهۡدِیۤ إِلَیۡهِ مَنۡ أَنَابَ ۝٢٧

Those who deny the knowledge of the reality say, “Shouldn’t he have been given a miracle from his Rabb?”... Say, “Indeed Allah misguides whom He wills and guides to the reality those who turn to Him.”

wayaqūlu alladhīna kafarū lawlā unzila ʿalayhi āyatun min rabbihi qul inna l-laha yuḍillu man yashāu wayahdī ilayhi man anāb

ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَتَطۡمَىِٕنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ أَلَا بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَىِٕنُّ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ۝٢٨

They are the ones who have believed and consciously experience the satisfaction of remembering and feeling Allah within their essence! Let it be known with certainty that consciousness finds contentment in the remembrance of Allah (dhikrullah; to remember one’s essential reality, or original self, i.e. Allah, as comprising the essence of all things with His Names)!

alladhīna āmanū wataṭma-innu qulūbuhum bidhik'ri l-lahi alā bidhik'ri l-lahi taṭma-innu l-qulūb

ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ طُوبَىٰ لَهُمۡ وَحُسۡنُ مَءَابࣲ ۝٢٩

Those who believe and fulfill the requirements of their faith will have Tuba (the tree of Paradise) and the bliss of experiencing what is within their essence.

alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti ṭūbā lahum waḥus'nu maābi

كَذَ ٰلِكَ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ فِیۤ أُمَّةࣲ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهَاۤ أُمَمࣱ لِّتَتۡلُوَا۟ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ وَهُمۡ یَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِۚ قُلۡ هُوَ رَبِّی لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَیۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَإِلَیۡهِ مَتَابِ ۝٣٠

Thus We disclosed you to a people, before whom many nations have come to pass, so that you may recite to those who deny the Rahman and inform them of what We have revealed to you... Say, “My Rabb is HU! There is no god, only HU! To Him is my trust and to Him is my repentance and return.”

kadhālika arsalnāka fī ummatin qad khalat min qablihā umamun litatluwā ʿalayhimu alladhī awḥaynā ilayka wahum yakfurūna bil-raḥmāni qul huwa rabbī lā ilāha illā huwa ʿalayhi tawakkaltu wa-ilayhi matāb

وَلَوۡ أَنَّ قُرۡءَانࣰا سُیِّرَتۡ بِهِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ أَوۡ قُطِّعَتۡ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَوۡ كُلِّمَ بِهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۗ بَل لِّلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ جَمِیعًاۗ أَفَلَمۡ یَا۟یۡءَسِ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَن لَّوۡ یَشَاۤءُ ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَى ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِیعࣰاۗ وَلَا یَزَالُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ تُصِیبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُوا۟ قَارِعَةٌ أَوۡ تَحُلُّ قَرِیبࣰا مِّن دَارِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ یَأۡتِیَ وَعۡدُ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُخۡلِفُ ٱلۡمِیعَادَ ۝٣١

Even if there were a Quran by (the recital of) which mountains could be set in motion, or the earth could be crumbled to pieces, or the dead could be made to speak (they would still not believe it)! No, the command is Allah’s in full! Did not the believers know that had Allah willed, He would surely have enabled the realization of the absolute reality to all of mankind! As for those who deny the knowledge of the reality, adversity will not cease to strike them or near their homes because of their own misdeeds... Until the promise of Allah is fulfilled... Indeed, Allah will not fail to keep His promise!

walaw anna qur'ānan suyyirat bihi l-jibālu aw quṭṭiʿat bihi l-arḍu aw kullima bihi l-mawtā bal lillahi l-amru jamīʿan afalam yāy'asi alladhīna āmanū an law yashāu l-lahu lahadā l-nāsa jamīʿan walā yazālu alladhīna kafarū tuṣībuhum bimā ṣanaʿū qāriʿatun aw taḥullu qarīban min dārihim ḥattā yatiya waʿdu l-lahi inna l-laha lā yukh'lifu l-mīʿād

5 Opposition will fail

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَمۡلَیۡتُ لِلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَیۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ ۝٣٢

Indeed the Rasuls before you were also mocked... I granted respite to those who deny the knowledge of the reality and then I seized them... How awful was the suffering that resulted from their misdeeds!

walaqadi us'tuh'zi-a birusulin min qablika fa-amlaytu lilladhīna kafarū thumma akhadhtuhum fakayfa kāna ʿiqāb

أَفَمَنۡ هُوَ قَاۤىِٕمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡۗ وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاۤءَ قُلۡ سَمُّوهُمۡۚ أَمۡ تُنَبِّءُونَهُۥ بِمَا لَا یَعۡلَمُ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَم بِظَـٰهِرࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِۗ بَلۡ زُیِّنَ لِلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مَكۡرُهُمۡ وَصُدُّوا۟ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِیلِۗ وَمَن یُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادࣲ ۝٣٣

They ascribed partners to Allah while it is He who forms the return of what every soul outputs... Say, “Name them! Or are you informing Him of something on the earth that He does not know? Or are you talking nonsense?”... But no, the scheme of the deniers of the reality has been made pleasing to them and they have been kept back from the way (of Allah)... And whomever Allah misleads, there is no longer a guide to the reality for him!

afaman huwa qāimun ʿalā kulli nafsin bimā kasabat wajaʿalū lillahi shurakāa qul sammūhum am tunabbiūnahu bimā lā yaʿlamu fī l-arḍi am biẓāhirin mina l-qawli bal zuyyina lilladhīna kafarū makruhum waṣuddū ʿani l-sabīli waman yuḍ'lili l-lahu famā lahu min hādi

لَّهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ أَشَقُّۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقࣲ ۝٣٤

There is suffering for them in the worldly life... and, surely, the suffering in the life to come will be worse! And there will be no protectors from Allah for them.

lahum ʿadhābun fī l-ḥayati l-dun'yā walaʿadhābu l-ākhirati ashaqqu wamā lahum mina l-lahi min wāqi

۞ مَّثَلُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِی وُعِدَ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۖ أُكُلُهَا دَاۤىِٕمࣱ وَظِلُّهَاۚ تِلۡكَ عُقۡبَى ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ۚ وَّعُقۡبَى ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ ٱلنَّارُ ۝٣٥

The example (metaphor) of Paradise for those who protect themselves is that beneath it rivers flow... Its fruit is lasting and so is its shade... This is the future for those who protect themselves... As for those who deny the knowledge of the reality, it is the fire.

mathalu l-janati allatī wuʿida l-mutaqūna tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru ukuluhā dāimun waẓilluhā til'ka ʿuq'bā alladhīna ittaqaw waʿuq'bā l-kāfirīna l-nār

وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ یَفۡرَحُونَ بِمَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ مَن یُنكِرُ بَعۡضَهُۥۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَاۤ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَلَاۤ أُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦۤۚ إِلَیۡهِ أَدۡعُوا۟ وَإِلَیۡهِ مَءَابِ ۝٣٦

Those to whom We (previously) gave the Book (the knowledge of the reality) rejoiced at what has been disclosed to you... but among them are some who deny part of it... Say, “I have only been commanded to serve Allah and to not ascribe any partners to Him... To Him is my invitation and to Him is my return!”

wa-alladhīna ātaynāhumu l-kitāba yafraḥūna bimā unzila ilayka wamina l-aḥzābi man yunkiru baʿḍahu qul innamā umir'tu an aʿbuda l-laha walā ush'rika bihi ilayhi adʿū wa-ilayhi maāb

وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ حُكۡمًا عَرَبِیࣰّاۚ وَلَىِٕنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَاۤءَهُم بَعۡدَ مَا جَاۤءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِیࣲّ وَلَا وَاقࣲ ۝٣٧

And thus We have revealed it as a command in Arabic... Indeed, if you follow their fantasies after the knowledge that has come to you, you shall have neither a friend nor a protector from Allah.

wakadhālika anzalnāhu ḥuk'man ʿarabiyyan wala-ini ittabaʿta ahwāahum baʿdamā jāaka mina l-ʿil'mi mā laka mina l-lahi min waliyyin walā wāqi

6 Steady Progress of Truth

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلࣰا مِّن قَبۡلِكَ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ أَزۡوَ ٰجࣰا وَذُرِّیَّةࣰۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن یَأۡتِیَ بِءَایَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلࣲ كِتَابࣱ ۝٣٨

Indeed, We disclosed Rasuls before you and gave partners and offspring to them... It is not possible for a Rasul to come as a proof without the permission of Allah (B-iznillah)... There is a decreed time for the formation of every command!

walaqad arsalnā rusulan min qablika wajaʿalnā lahum azwājan wadhurriyyatan wamā kāna lirasūlin an yatiya biāyatin illā bi-idh'ni l-lahi likulli ajalin kitābu

یَمۡحُوا۟ ٱللَّهُ مَا یَشَاۤءُ وَیُثۡبِتُۖ وَعِندَهُۥۤ أُمُّ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ ۝٣٩

Allah abolishes what He wills or forms (into a perceivable reality, what He wills), and with Him is the Mother of the Book (primary knowledge; the knowledge of the ways in which the Names will manifest at every instant).

yamḥū l-lahu mā yashāu wayuth'bitu waʿindahu ummu l-kitāb

وَإِن مَّا نُرِیَنَّكَ بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِی نَعِدُهُمۡ أَوۡ نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ وَعَلَیۡنَا ٱلۡحِسَابُ ۝٤٠

If We show you some of what We promised them (while they are alive) or cause you to die (without showing it to you, your function will still not change) you are only responsible to inform... Enforcing the consequences of their deeds belongs to Us!

wa-in mā nuriyannaka baʿḍa alladhī naʿiduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa-innamā ʿalayka l-balāghu waʿalaynā l-ḥisāb

أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّا نَأۡتِی ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنۡ أَطۡرَافِهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ یَحۡكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكۡمِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ سَرِیعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ۝٤١

Did they not see how we wear out the earth (the physical body) from every way (until it ages and dies, or the global exhaustion of the earth by cosmic or climate conditions, or the wearing out of the dualists in that time)... Allah decrees (this) and there is none to chase (adjust and change) His decree. He is the One that instantaneously forms the subsequent stage based on what has already been formed.

awalam yaraw annā natī l-arḍa nanquṣuhā min aṭrāfihā wal-lahu yaḥkumu lā muʿaqqiba liḥuk'mihi wahuwa sarīʿu l-ḥisāb

وَقَدۡ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡمَكۡرُ جَمِیعࣰاۖ یَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡسِبُ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲۗ وَسَیَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡكُفَّـٰرُ لِمَنۡ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ ۝٤٢

Those before them had also planned a trap... But the plan belongs to Allah entirely (their plan worked against them, they fell into their own trap set by sunnatullah)... He knows the outcome of every consciousness! Those who deny the reality will also see to whom belongs the future abode.

waqad makara alladhīna min qablihim falillahi l-makru jamīʿan yaʿlamu mā taksibu kullu nafsin wasayaʿlamu l-kufāru liman ʿuq'bā l-dār

وَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَسۡتَ مُرۡسَلࣰاۚ قُلۡ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِیدَۢا بَیۡنِی وَبَیۡنَكُمۡ وَمَنۡ عِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ ۝٤٣

Those who deny the knowledge of the reality say, “You are not a Rasul (disclosed by Allah)”... Say, “Sufficient is Allah and those who possess the knowledge of the reality as Witness between me and you...”

wayaqūlu alladhīna kafarū lasta mur'salan qul kafā bil-lahi shahīdan baynī wabaynakum waman ʿindahu ʿil'mu l-kitāb
