لَكُمْ lakum

سَرَٰبِيلَ sarābīla
garments Noun
تَقِيكُمُ taqīkumu
to protect you V
ٱلْحَرَّ l-ḥara
(from) the heat Noun
وَسَرَٰبِيلَ wasarābīla

تَقِيكُم taqīkum
to protect you V
بَأْسَكُمْ basakum
from your (mutual) violence Noun
كَذَٰلِكَ kadhālika

نِعْمَتَهُۥ niʿ'matahu

عَلَيْكُمْ ʿalaykum

لَعَلَّكُمْ laʿallakum
so that you may Prep
تُسْلِمُونَ tus'limūna
submit V

It is God who has given you shade from what He has created, and places of shelter in the mountains; garments to protect you from the heat, and garments to protect you in your wars. In this way He perfects His blessings on you, so that you may devote yourselves to Him

Arabic Text

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَـٰلࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ أَكۡنَـٰنࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ سَرَ ٰبِیلَ تَقِیكُمُ ٱلۡحَرَّ وَسَرَ ٰبِیلَ تَقِیكُم بَأۡسَكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ یُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُونَ ۝٨١

wal-lahu jaʿala lakum mimmā khalaqa ẓilālan wajaʿala lakum mina l-jibāli aknānan wajaʿala lakum sarābīla taqīkumu l-ḥara wasarābīla taqīkum basakum kadhālika yutimmu niʿ'matahu ʿalaykum laʿallakum tus'limūn
