لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ layabluwannakumu
Surely will test you V
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu

بِشَىْءٍ bishayin

مِّنَ mina

ٱلصَّيْدِ l-ṣaydi
the game Noun
تَنَالُهُۥٓ tanāluhu
can reach it V
أَيْدِيكُمْ aydīkum

وَرِمَاحُكُمْ warimāḥukum
and your spears Noun
لِيَعْلَمَ liyaʿlama
that may make evident V
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu
Allah Noun
مَن man
who Noun
يَخَافُهُۥ yakhāfuhu
fears Him V
بِٱلْغَيْبِ bil-ghaybi
in the unseen Noun
فَمَنِ famani
And whoever Noun
ٱعْتَدَىٰ iʿ'tadā
transgressed V
بَعْدَ baʿda
after Noun
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika
that Noun
فَلَهُۥ falahu
then for him Noun
عَذَابٌ ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment Noun
أَلِيمٌ alīmun
painful Noun

You who believe, God is sure to test you with game within reach of your hands and spears, to find out who fears Him even though they cannot see Him: from now on, anyone who transgresses will have a painful punishment

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَیَبۡلُوَنَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِشَیۡءࣲ مِّنَ ٱلصَّیۡدِ تَنَالُهُۥۤ أَیۡدِیكُمۡ وَرِمَاحُكُمۡ لِیَعۡلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن یَخَافُهُۥ بِٱلۡغَیۡبِۚ فَمَنِ ٱعۡتَدَىٰ بَعۡدَ ذَ ٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ ۝٩٤

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū layabluwannakumu l-lahu bishayin mina l-ṣaydi tanāluhu aydīkum warimāḥukum liyaʿlama l-lahu man yakhāfuhu bil-ghaybi famani iʿ'tadā baʿda dhālika falahu ʿadhābun alīmu
