The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:10

مَكَّنَّٰكُمْ makkannākum
We established you V

ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi

وَجَعَلْنَا wajaʿalnā
and We made V
لَكُمْ lakum
for you Noun
فِيهَا fīhā
in it Prep
مَعَٰيِشَ maʿāyisha
livelihood Noun
قَلِيلًا qalīlan
Little Noun
مَّا mā
(is) what Prep
تَشْكُرُونَ tashkurūna
you (are) grateful V

We established you [people] on the earth and provided you with a means of livelihood there––small thanks you give

وَلَقَدۡ مَكَّنَّـٰكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَعَـٰیِشَۗ قَلِیلࣰا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ ۝١٠

walaqad makkannākum fī l-arḍi wajaʿalnā lakum fīhā maʿāyisha qalīlan mā tashkurūn
