Verb
جَهَنَّمَ یَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ ٢٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement
Abdel Haleem:
where they burn? What an evil place to stay
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
(Even to) hell? They are exposed thereto. A hapless end
مَّن كَانَ یُرِیدُ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلۡنَا لَهُۥ فِیهَا مَا نَشَاۤءُ لِمَن نُّرِیدُ ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ یَصۡلَىٰهَا مَذۡمُومࣰا مَّدۡحُورࣰا ١٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished
Abdel Haleem:
If anyone desires [only] the fleeting life, We speed up whatever We will in it, for whoever We wish; in the end We have prepared Hell for him in which to burn, disgraced and rejected
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Whoso desireth that (life) which hasteneth away, We hasten for him therein what We will for whom We please. And afterward We have appointed for him hell; he will endure the heat thereof, condemned, rejected
إِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهۡلِهِۦۤ إِنِّیۤ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارࣰا سَءَاتِیكُم مِّنۡهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوۡ ءَاتِیكُم بِشِهَابࣲ قَبَسࣲ لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَصۡطَلُونَ ٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves."
Abdel Haleem:
Moses said to his family, ‘I have seen a fire. I will bring you news from there, or a burning stick for you to warm yourselves.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
(Remember) when Moses said unto his household: Lo! I spy afar off a fire; I will bring you tidings thence, or bring to you a borrowed flame that ye may warm yourselves
۞ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلۡأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهۡلِهِۦۤ ءَانَسَ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ نَارࣰاۖ قَالَ لِأَهۡلِهِ ٱمۡكُثُوۤا۟ إِنِّیۤ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارࣰا لَّعَلِّیۤ ءَاتِیكُم مِّنۡهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوۡ جَذۡوَةࣲ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَصۡطَلُونَ ٢٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And when Moses had completed the term and was traveling with his family, he perceived from the direction of the mount a fire. He said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire. Perhaps I will bring you from there [some] information or burning wood from the fire that you may warm yourselves."
Abdel Haleem:
Once Moses had fulfilled the term and was travelling with his family, he caught sight of a fire on the side of the mountain and said to his family, ‘Wait! I have seen a fire. I will bring you news from there, or a burning stick for you to warm yourselves.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Then, when Moses had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his housefolk, he saw in the distance a fire and said unto his housefolk: Bide ye (here). Lo! I see in the distance a fire; peradventure I shall bring you tidings thence, or a brand from the fire that ye may warm yourselves
ٱصۡلَوۡهَا ٱلۡیَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ ٦٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny."
Abdel Haleem:
Enter it today, because you went on ignoring [my commands].’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved
The Letter Sad 38:56
Verb
جَهَنَّمَ یَصۡلَوۡنَهَا فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ٥٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place
Abdel Haleem:
Hell to burn in, an evil place to stay

Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place
Women 4:10
Verb
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یَأۡكُلُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰلَ ٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ ظُلۡمًا إِنَّمَا یَأۡكُلُونَ فِی بُطُونِهِمۡ نَارࣰاۖ وَسَیَصۡلَوۡنَ سَعِیرࣰا ١٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed, those who devour the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming into their bellies fire. And they will be burned in a Blaze
Abdel Haleem:
Those who consume the property of orphans unjustly are actually swallowing fire into their own bellies: they will burn in the blazing Flame
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! Those who devour the wealth of orphans wrongfully, they do but swallow fire into their bellies, and they will be exposed to burning flame
Women 4:115
Verb
وَمَن یُشَاقِقِ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَیَتَّبِعۡ غَیۡرَ سَبِیلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ نُوَلِّهِۦ مَا تَوَلَّىٰ وَنُصۡلِهِۦ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَسَاۤءَتۡ مَصِیرًا ١١٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination
Abdel Haleem:
if anyone opposes the Messenger, after guidance has been made clear to him, and follows a path other than that of the believers, We shall leave him on his chosen path- We shall burn him in Hell, an evil destination
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And whoso opposeth the messenger after the guidance (of Allah) hath been manifested unto him, and followeth other than the believer's way, We appoint for him that unto which he himself hath turned, and expose him unto hell - a hapless journey's end
Women 4:30
Verb
وَمَن یَفۡعَلۡ ذَ ٰلِكَ عُدۡوَ ٰنࣰا وَظُلۡمࣰا فَسَوۡفَ نُصۡلِیهِ نَارࣰاۚ وَكَانَ ذَ ٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرًا ٣٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And whoever does that in aggression and injustice - then We will drive him into a Fire. And that, for Allah , is [always] easy
Abdel Haleem:
If any of you does these things, out of hostility and injustice, We shall make him suffer Fire: that is easy for God

Whoso doeth that through aggression and injustice, we shall cast him into Fire, and that is ever easy for Allah
Women 4:56
Verb
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا سَوۡفَ نُصۡلِیهِمۡ نَارࣰا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتۡ جُلُودُهُم بَدَّلۡنَـٰهُمۡ جُلُودًا غَیۡرَهَا لِیَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِیزًا حَكِیمࣰا ٥٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise
Abdel Haleem:
We shall send those who reject Our revelations to the Fire. When their skins have been burned away, We shall replace them with new ones so that they may continue to feel the pain: God is mighty and wise
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise
ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوۤا۟ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُوا۟ سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ١٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."
Abdel Haleem:
Burn in it––it makes no difference whether you bear it patiently or not–– you are only being repaid for what you have done.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Endure the heat thereof, and whether ye are patient of it or impatient of it is all one for you. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do
أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ ثُمَّ یَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنۡهُ وَیَتَنَـٰجَوۡنَ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَ ٰنِ وَمَعۡصِیَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِۖ وَإِذَا جَاۤءُوكَ حَیَّوۡكَ بِمَا لَمۡ یُحَیِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّهُ وَیَقُولُونَ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَوۡلَا یُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُۚ حَسۡبُهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ یَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Have you not considered those who were forbidden from private conversation, then they return to that which they were forbidden and converse among themselves about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that [word] by which Allah does not greet you and say among themselves, "Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?" Sufficient for them is Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the destination
Abdel Haleem:
Have you not seen how those who have been forbidden to hold secret conversations go back afterwards and hold them, and conspire with one another in what is sinful, hostile, and disobedient to the Messenger? When they come to you they greet you with words God has never used to greet you, and say inwardly, ‘Why does God not punish us for what we say?’ Hell will be punishment enough for them: they will burn there- an evil destination
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Hast thou not observed those who were forbidden conspiracy and afterward returned to that which they had been forbidden, and (now) conspire together for crime and wrongdoing and disobedience toward the messenger? And when they come unto thee they greet thee with a greeting wherewith Allah greeteth thee not, and say within themselves: Why should Allah punish us for what we say? Hell will suffice them; they will feel the heat thereof - a hapless journey's end
ثُمَّ ٱلۡجَحِیمَ صَلُّوهُ ٣١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Then into Hellfire drive him
Abdel Haleem:
lead him to burn in the blazing Fire
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And then expose him to hell-fir
سَأُصۡلِیهِ سَقَرَ ٢٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
I will drive him into Saqar
Abdel Haleem:
I will throw him into the scorching Fire
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Him shall I fling unto the burning
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense

They will enter it on the Day of Judgemen

They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا

Verb
لَا يَصْلَاهَا إِلَّا الْأَشْقَى

None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one

Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein

We know best who most deserves to burn in Hell

The Letter Sad 38:59
Noun
هَـٰذَا فَوۡجࣱ مُّقۡتَحِمࣱ مَّعَكُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِهِمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ صَالُوا۟ ٱلنَّارِ ٥٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire."
Abdel Haleem:
[It will be said], ‘Here is another crowd of people rushing headlong to join you.’ [The response will be], ‘They are not welcome! They will burn in the Fire.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire
وَتَصۡلِیَةُ جَحِیمٍ ٩٤

And burning in Hellfir

He will burn in Hell

And roasting at hell-fire
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ
