Children of Israel, The Israelites 17:60

جَعَلْنَا jaʿalnā

ٱلرُّءْيَا l-ru'yā

ٱلَّتِىٓ allatī
which Noun
أَرَيْنَٰكَ araynāka
We showed you V
إِلَّا illā
except Prep
فِتْنَةً fit'natan
(as) a trial Noun
لِّلنَّاسِ lilnnāsi
for mankind Noun
وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ wal-shajarata
and the tree Noun
ٱلْمَلْعُونَةَ l-malʿūnata
the accursed Noun
فِى fī
in Prep
ٱلْقُرْءَانِ l-qur'āni
the Quran Noun
وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ wanukhawwifuhum
And We threaten them V
فَمَا famā
but not Prep
يَزِيدُهُمْ yazīduhum
it increases them V
إِلَّا illā
except Prep
طُغْيَٰنًا ṭugh'yānan
(in) transgression Noun
كَبِيرًا kabīran
great Noun

[Prophet], We have told you that your Lord knows all about human beings. The vision We showed you was only a test for people, as was the cursed tree [mentioned] in the Quran. We warn them, but this only increases their insolence

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِٱلنَّاسِۚ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا ٱلرُّءۡیَا ٱلَّتِیۤ أَرَیۡنَـٰكَ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةࣰ لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ ٱلۡمَلۡعُونَةَ فِی ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمۡ فَمَا یَزِیدُهُمۡ إِلَّا طُغۡیَـٰنࣰا كَبِیرࣰا ۝٦٠

wa-idh qul'nā laka inna rabbaka aḥāṭa bil-nāsi wamā jaʿalnā l-ru'yā allatī araynāka illā fit'natan lilnnāsi wal-shajarata l-malʿūnata fī l-qur'āni wanukhawwifuhum famā yazīduhum illā ṭugh'yānan kabīra
