But towards those who do wrong out of ignorance, and afterwards repent and make amends, your Lord is most forgiving and merciful

lilladhīna yu'lūna min nisāihim tarabbuṣu arbaʿati ashhurin fa-in fāū fa-inna l-laha ghafūrun raḥīmu

For those who swear that they will not approach their wives, there shall be a waiting period of four months:if they go back, remember God will be most forgiving and merciful

faman tāba min baʿdi ẓul'mihi wa-aṣlaḥa fa-inna l-laha yatūbu ʿalayhi inna l-laha ghafūrun raḥīmu

But if anyone repents after his wrongdoing and makes amends, God will accept his repentance: God is most forgiving, most merciful
