The Comer by Night
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ
By the sky and the night-comer––
By the heaven and the night-comer (the bright star),
By the heaven and the night-come
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -
By the sky and the Tariq,
By Heaven and the Night-Comer!
By the sky, by the nightly visitor
By the heaven and that which comes at night
I call to witness the heaven and the visitant (in the darkness) of the night
By heaven and the night-star
By the sky and the night-comer (the evening star).
God hereby swears by the awesomeness of the sky…
By the galaxy and the night visitant
By the sky and the pulsar.
By the heaven and by the night star
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver
By the firmament and the night-visitant.
By the heaven, and that which appeareth by night
By the heaven and by the night or (morning) star
By the sky, and by the nightly comer
BY the heaven, and by the NIGHT-COMER
The heaven and At-Tariq ('The strictly adhering to a set path') act as a witness (to Allah’s Majesty)
By the heaven and the night visitor,
Consider the sky and the night visitor.
By the heaven and by the morning star (visitant by night)
By the heaven, and the night-visitor
By the heaven and the Comer by night
By the sky and the Taariq.
By the sky and the Taariq
By the (endless expanse and infinite space of) heaven and the Nightly (discernable) Visitant
And the sky and the herald
By the heaven and the herald.
By the heaven and the herald.
And/by the sky/space, and/by the Night Comer/star (Morning Star)
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night
And (by) the heaven and the Night Visitant! (Or: "The Morning Star; literally: The Rapper)
By the heaven and the Morning Sta
By the heavens and al-tariq
I swear by the sky and by the Night-Comer,_
By the firmament and the night visitor!
(I swear) by the sky, and the night star
I swear by firmament and the Night Visitor!
By the heaven and the celestial body which makes a strong impression upon the sense of vision
By the sky and the night visitor –
By the heaven and the nightly star!
By the sky and the pulsating (star).
BY THE heaven, and by the nightly visitant
By the sky and Al-Taareq
By the sky and the knocking star,
By the sky and the knocking star,
By the sky and Al-Tariq (The Pulsar).
By the Sky and the Night-visitant (therein
By the heaven and by the night visitor.
The sky and the Tariq are witness to what is being said
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night
By the heaven and the Morning Star
By the sky and that which comes by night
By the sky (the heaven) and by the Visitor by the night
By the sky and the pulsar.
By the sky and at-Tariq
By the sky and the night visitor..

By the sky and the night comer.
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ
What will explain to you what the night-comer is
and what will make you know what night-comer is?
And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is?
How will you comprehend what the night star is
Do you know the Tariq?
And what will convey to you what the Night-Comer is?
(and what will show you what is the nightly visitor
What enables you to perceive what it is that comes at night
And what should make you know what the night-visitant is
And what shall teach thee what is the night-star
And how would you know what the night-comer (the evening star) is?
and the shining star of the morning that nobody know its nature and…
And what will explain to you what the night-visitant is
But what can make yousg realize what the pulsar is?
And what shall make thee know what the night star is?
And have you understood what the nightly arriver is
And what do you know about what the night-visitant is?
But what shall cause thee to understand what that which appeareth by night is
And what shall make you know what the night star is
What could let you know what the nightly comer is
But who shall teach thee what the night-comer is
And what made you realise what At-Tariq is
what will cause thee to recognize what the night visitor is?
What will explain to you what the night visitor is?
and what will explain to you what the visitant by night is
what do you know what the night-visitor is
And what will make thee know what the Comer by night is
And what will make you realize what Taariq is ?
— And what do you understand what the Taariq is
And what do you know what the Nightly (discernable) Visitant is
And do you know what the herald i

And what made you know/informed you what the Night Comer/star (Morning Star is)
And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night
And what makes you realize what the Night Visitant is? (Or: "The Morning Star; literally: The Rapper)
- Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is
Do you know what al-tariq is
__and what may let you know what the Night-Comer is
What would make you aware of what the night visitor might be?
And how would you know what the night star is
And what will make you know exactly what the Night Visitor is?
And you just do not know what the celestial body which makes a strong impression upon the sense of vision is like
what can explain the night visitor to you?
And what will make you realize what the nightly star is?
And how do you know what the pulsating (star) is?
Would that you knew what the nightly visitant is
Do you know what Al-Taareq is
what do you know about the knocking star?
what do you know about the knocking star?
And what cognizes you, what Al-Tariq is?
And what will explain to thee what the Night-visitant is
Would that you knew what the night visitor is!
And what will enlighten you as to what the Tariq is
And what will make you know what the comer by night is
And what should make thee know what the Morning Star is
And what will apprise thee of that which comes by night
And what will explain to you what is the Visitor by the night —
And what will explain to you what the pulsar is?
But what will let you know what at-Tariq is
"Ah, what wil tell you what the night visitor is?"
And what can make you know what is the night comer
And what will make you know what the night comer is?
And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?
And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?
النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ
The piercing star––
(It is) the star of piercing brightness.
It is the star shing brightly
It is the star that shines with a piercing brightness -
It is the piercing star (pulsar)!
The Piercing Star!
It is the brilliant star)
It is the bright piercing star
(It is) the star of piercing brightness
The piercing star
It is the sharp bright star.
its light is penetrating throughout the universe
It is the star of piercing brightness
The Drilling Star.
The star of piercing brightness
The very brightly shining star
It is the penetrating star.
It is the star of piercing brightness
The star of piercing brightness
(It is) the piercing star
'Tis the star of piercing radiance
(It is) a star of piercing brightness
It is the piercing star.
The star of piecing brightness!
It is the star of piercing brightness
It is the piercing star
The star of piercing brightness -
(It is) the piercing star.
It is the shining star —
(It implies) every heavenly body (be it a star, a planet, or any of the heavenly spheres) which shines and brightens (the space).
The piercing star
The piercing star.
The pulsing star.
The star/planet, the lit/penetrating
It is the star that pierces through [life's] darkness

(It is) a bright star

It is the penetrant fiery celestial body which strikes to gain admittance into the terrestrial air

It is the piercing Star,

(It is) the Star of piercing brightness
It is the star that pierces through darkness.
The Brightest Star! The noble night-visitant with the Radiant Lamp of the Qur'an in his hand knocking at the doors of minds and hearts, giving Light

The shinning Star of intense brightness—
It’s the piercing star.
The Piercing Star
The star of piercing brightness
It is the piercing star
The star with piercing brightness.
(It is) the Star of piercing brightness;
(It is) the Star of piercing brightness;
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
there is a watcher over every soul
There is no human being but has a protector (angel) over him.
No soul is there but hath over it a watcher
That over each soul there is a guardian
There is no soul over which there is no guardian (observer – protector).
There is no self which has no guardian over it.
there is a guard over every soul
There is not a soul but over it is a guardian
Remember! a guardian is appointed (by God) over every soul
Over every soul there is a watcher
Indeed, every person has observer over him.
That every soul has a protector
There is no soul that does not have a protector over it
There is no self but has a preserver over it.
Verily, every soul has a guardian over it
There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it
There is no soul except that there is a keeper over it.
Every soul hath a guardian set over it
Verily, every soul has a guardian over it
For every soul there is a watcher
Over every soul is set a guardian
There is no (human) Nafs but over her is a protector
Truly, every soul has one who guards it.
There is no soul without a protector over it.
(Just as Allah Almighty is taking care of each star in the galaxies, similarly) over each soul there is an appointed guardian angel
There is no living being but there is a protector over it
There is not a soul but over it is a keeper
There is not a single soul which does not have a custodian over it.
Not a soul but has a protector over it.
There is no human soul but with a protector (appointed) over it
Every soul has a recorder over it
Every soul has a recorder over it.
Every soul has a recorder over it.
That truly every/each self (is) except on it a protector/safe keeper
[for] no human being has ever been left unguarded
Decidedly over every self there is assuredly a Preserver
No human soul but hath a guardian over it
There is no soul which is not guarded (by the two angels who record all of its deeds)
__there is no human being, but there is a watcher over him
Over every one, there is a guardian.
There is no soul without a guardian over it
I swear by these that every one has Angelic Guards.
That every soul is but protected by a guardian angel who watches over innocence and folly
There is a keeper over every person.
There is no soul without a vigilant angel ˹recording everything˺.
Each soul has a guardian set over it.
For every soul there is a guardian
Absolutely, everyone is well guarded
there is no soul without a protector over it.

There is not a soul but has a protector over i
For every soul there is a guardian who watches over it.
There is no person without a watch being kept over him. (The Law of Requital is ever-vigilant)

فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
Man should reflect on what he was created from
So let a person see from what he is created!
So let man look - from what is he created
Let man consider what he was made of
So, let man look to see from what he was created!
Man has only to look at what he was created from.
So let man consider from what he was created
Let human, then, consider from what he has been created
Therefore let (every) human being consider from what material he is created
So let man consider of what he was created
So, the human being should look at what he is created from.
O’ mankind, God is asking you to think for a while from what you are created
Now let the human being think about from what he is created
Let man look at what he was created from.
Then let man look from what he is created
So man must consider from what he has been created
Then let the human being look at that from which he was created.
Let a man consider, therefore, of what he is created
Then let man look from what he is created
Let the human reflect of what he is created
Let man then reflect out of what he was created
So let the human being ponder from what he has been created
So let the human being look on of what he was created.
May humanity ponder from what he/she was created!
Let man consider from what he is created
So let man consider of what he was created

So let man see from what he was created.
Let man then see how he is created
So man should ponder (and find out) from what substance he has been created
So let man see from what he was created
Solet man see from what he was created.
So let the human being see from what he was created.
So the human/mankind should look/see from what he was created
LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created
So let man look into what he was created from
So let man consider from what he is created
Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created
So, let man consider of which stuff he is created
Thus, let man look at what he is created.
Let man look at (and bear in mind) the substance he is created from
Let man, then, consider of what he is created:
Let man ponder from what was he created
Let humans look at what they were created from;
Let people then consider what they were created from!
So let man look from what he was created:
Let man reflect from what he is created
Let the human reflect on his creation
So let the human being consider what he was created from.
So let the human being consider what he was created from.
So will the human observe from what he was created?
So let man contemplate on from what he is created
Let man then reflect: of what he is created.
Let the human being, then, consider out of what he has been created. (And realize the common origin of all mankind. Has there not passed over man an era when he was not even worth mentioning? 76:1
So let man consider of what he is created

خُلِقَ مِن مَّاءٍ دَافِقٍ
He is created from spurting fluid
He is created from an emitted fluid
He is created from a water drip-ping
He was created of spurting wate
He was created from an ejected fluid (sperm).
He was created from a spurting fluid,
He was created from an effusing flui
He has been created from some of a lowly fluid gushing forth
He is created from a jetting fluid
he was created of gushing wate
He is created from an ejected fluid,
From a tiny insignificant…
He is created from a drop emitted
He was created from an ejected fluid,
he is created from water poured forth
Created from a gushing fluid
He was created from a flowing liquid,
He is created of seed poured forth
He is created from a drop emitte
He was created from ejaculated wate
He was created of the poured-forth germs
He is created from a fluid ejecting itself swiftly
He was created of water, that which gushes forth,
He/she was created from an ejected fluid.
He is created from an emitted flui
He was created of a gushing fluid
He is created of water pouring forth
He was created from gushing water (fluid)
He is created by means of fluid [blood] spurtin
He has been created from the ejaculated fluid (i.e., virile and motile sperm)
He was created from water that gushes forth
Hewas created from a water that spurts forth.
He was created from a water that spurts forth.
He was created from water pouring/flowing forcefully
he has been created out of a seminal flui
He was created from effusive water
He is created from a gushing flui
He has been created from an ejected drop of flui

(He is) created from the surging fluid

He was created from fluid that is simply emitted and ejaculated
they were created from spurted semen

He is creased from a drop emitte
He is created of gushing water;
He has been created from a turbulent water. (21:30), (24:25)
He is created of water pouring forth

يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
then he emerges from between the backbone and breastbone
that is produced from between the back-bone and the ribs.
That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones
Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs
Emerging from between the hip (of the male) and the pelvis (of the female).
emerging from between the back-bone and the breast-bone.
which issues from between the loins and the breast-bones
It proceeds (as a result of incitement) between the (lumbar zone in the) vertebra and the ribs
Which issues forth from between the loins and the breast-bones
issuing between the loins and the breast-bones
coming out from between the backbone and the ribs.
… sperm [that may be seen only with a powerful microscope] created between the back bone and the rib
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs
coming out from between the backbone and the breastbones.
that comes out from between the loins and the breast bones
That is issued from between the backs and the ribs
coming out from between the backbone and the ribs.
issuing from the loins, and the breast-bones
Which comes out from between the loins and the breast bones
that issues from between the loins and the ribs
Which issue from the loins and breastbones
it proceeds from between back-bones and the ribs (since it is here where the source initially resides)
going forth from between the loins and the breast bone.
[This fluidity began] from between the backbone and the ribs.
that is produced from between the loins and the ribs
emanating from between the loins and the ribs
Coming from between the back and the ribs
that comes out from in between the loins and the ribs.
Out from between the spine and the ribs
That proceeds from the middle of the sacrum (and pelvic girdle) and is ejected
It comes out from between the spine and the testicles
Itcomes out from between the spine and the testicles.
It comes out from between the spine and the testes.
It emerges/appears from between the spine and the rib bones
issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]
Going out between the loins (Or: backbone) and the breastbones
That issued from between the loins and ribs
which comes out of the loins and ribs
that comes out from between the loins and the chest-bones
It runs out of the loins and the ribs.
Which springs from between the spine and the ribs
Emerging from between the backbone and ribs.
He -man- issues forth at birth From the space between the bony pelvis and the breast-bone, the course that is normally negotiated
that comes from bodily organs in the torso
stemming from between the backbone and the ribcage.
Which emerges from between the loins and the chest.
that issues from between the loins and the ribs
From between the spine and the viscera
emerging from the vicinity of the backbone and the ribs.

Exits from between the backbone and the ribs bones.
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs
he issues from between the loins and the chest bones.
That issued from between tough rocks and mingled dust
Coming from between the back and the ribs
Which issues forth from between the loins and the breastbones
issuing from between the loins and the pelvic arch
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs
Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
Issuing from between the backbone and the breastbones
which emerges from between the backbone adn the breast
Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs
It comes forth from between the loins and the breast bones.
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs
Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs
إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
God is certainly able to bring him back to life
Surely, (Allah) is Able to bring a person back (to life),
Verily He is Able to restore him
God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead)
Indeed, He is Qadir to return him (to his origin)!
He certainly has the power to return him to life.
Indeed He is able to bring him back [after death]
Surely He (Who has created human from a lowly fluid) is able to restore him (to life after his death
Verily, He (Who created him the first time) has the power of bringing him back to life (in the Hereafter)
Surely He is able to bring him bac
Indeed, He is capable of his return,
The same God Who created man out of nothing can surely summon him (after his death) to meet his Creator
Surely God is able to bring him back
He is certainly able to return him
Verily, He is able to send him back again
Indeed Allah is Able to return him
Indeed Allah most certainly is able to bring him back.
Verily God is able to restore him to life
Surely, He is able to bring back (to life)
Surely, He is Able to bring him back
Well able then is God to restore him to life,
Surely, He is All-Capable over his revival (on the Day of Resurrection)
Truly, He, in returning him, certainly is One Who Has Power.
Surely He is able to resurrect him/her.
Surely He, the Creator, has the power to bring him back to life
Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life)
Surely he is able to return him (to life)
He is certainly able to return him, (and make him face)
It [blood] is certainly indeed capable of its return
Indeed, He has the power to bring it (life) back
For He is able to bring him back
For He is able to bring him back.
For He is able to bring him back.
That He truly (is) on returning him capable/able (E)
Now, verily, He [who thus creates man in the first instance] is well able to bring him back [to life]
Surely He is indeed Determiner over his return (to life)
Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life
God has all power to resurrect him
Surely He is Powerful to bring him bac
Absolutely (Allâh) is capable of bringing him back to life
Indeed, He is (certainly) capable of bringing man back to life
Surely He is Most Capable of bringing him back to life after death,
Does this not show that Allah is Omnipotent enough to have him recreated
Allah is fully able to return them to life,
Surely He is fully capable of bringing them back ˹to life˺
He is able to bring him back.
Surely He has power to bring him back
He is certainly able to resurrect him
Indeed, God is able to bring him [the human being] back to life.
Indeed, God is able to bring him [the human being] back to life.
Most surely, He is upon returning him capable.
Surely He is able to bring him back (to life)
God is well able to bring him back [to life].
Now, verily, He (Who has thus created man), is well Able to bring him back
Most surely He is able to return him (to life)
Surely, ALLAH has the power to bring him back to life
Truly He is able to bring him back
Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)
He is surely able to return him.
He is certainly able to return him
Surely He is Able to bring him back (to life)
Indeed, Allah , to return him [to life], is Able
Indeed, He, on returning him, is surely able.
Surely (God) is able to bring him back (to life)
Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
On the Day when secrets are laid bar
on the Day when all the secrets will be examined,
On a Day whereon secrets shall be out
The day all secrets are examine
At that time all secrets will be exposed and known.
on the Day when the secrets are sought out
on the day when the secrets are examined
On the Day when all things (that remained or were kept) secret will be made manifest
On the Day, when the hidden things shall be exposed
upon the day when the secrets are tried
the day when the secrets are disclosed
On that day there shall be…
The day that all things secret will be tested
on the day when the secrets are put on trial,
on the day when the secrets shall be tried
A day when the secrets will be examined
The day when all the secrets will be put on trial.
the day whereon all secret thoughts and actions shall be examined into
On the day when the secrets shall be tried
on the Day when consciences are examined
On the day when all secrets shall be searched out
the Day when the secrets are subjected to Accountability
On a Day all secret thoughts will be tried,
[Consider] the day when secrets will be made known.
on the Day when the hidden secrets will be brought to scrutiny
On the Day when man´s deepest secrets shall be put to the tes
On the day when hidden things are manifested
the day, (when) secrets will be examined,
The Day secrets are disclosed
The Day when all secrets will be disclosed
The Day when all is revealed
The Day when all is revealed.
The Day when all is revealed.
A day/time the secrets/intentions be tested
on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare
On the Day when secret thoughts and actions are tried
On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out
On the day when all secrets will be made public
on a day when all the secrets will be searched out
On the day when all the secrets of the heart will be tested.
That day, (all) secrets would be laid bare
On the Day when the secrets of the heart are laid bare.
That is on the Day of Resurrection, when secrets are brought into the open and man’s countenance will reveal, against his will, all he had hoped would be kept secret and will betray him to his fall or to his exultation
on the Day when secrets will be exposed;
on the Day all secrets will be disclosed.
On the day the secrets will be exposed,
on the day when consciences are searched
The day all secrets become known
On a Day when secrets are disclosed,
On a Day when secrets are disclosed,
On a Day when the secrets are tried.
On the Day when hidden things will he made manifest
On the day when consciences are tried,
On the Day when all secrets will be disclosed
On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest
On the day when secrets shall be disclosed
on the Day when secrets are tested
The Day that (all) things secret will be tested
On the Day when the secrets are exposed.
On the Day when the secrets are disclosed
"on the Day when the secrets will be made known,"
The Day when secrets will be put on trial
On the day the secrets will be tested,
The Day that (all) things secret will be tested
The Day that (all) things secret will be tested
فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
he will have no power and no one to help him
he will have neither power, nor any helper (to save from punishment).
Then he shall have no power nor any helper
He will have no strength or helper
Then there will be no power or helper for him!
and man will have no strength or helper.
and he shall have neither power nor helper
And he will have no power, nor a helper (against God’s punishment)
Then the person (who has engrossed himself in worldly affairs) shall have neither power to defend himself nor he will have any (other) helper
and he shall have no strength, no helper
then he has no power and no helper.
… no such thing as manifest and hidden and man will have neither the power nor a helper
They will have no power and no helper
then he will have neither strength nor helper.
and he shall have no strength nor helper
So man will neither have any strength nor any aide
Then there will be no power for him nor a helper.
and he shall have no power to defend himself, nor any protector
And man shall have neither strength nor helper
when he will be helpless, with no supporter
And he shall have no other might or helper
Then there is not for him from any (power) and nor (any one) out of that who helps
then, there will not be for him any strength nor one who helps.
Humanity will have no power and no helper.
then he will have neither power of his own nor any helper to save him from the punishment of Allah
he shall have no power, and no helper
Then he will have no strength nor helper
then there will neither be strength nor a helper for him.
For him [man] there will then be no power, and no helper
Then man will have neither any strength (himself) nor any helper
Then he will not have any power or victor
Then he will not have any power or victor.
Then he will not have any power or victor.
So (there is) no strength/power, and nor victorior/savior for him
and [man] will have neither strength nor helper
Then in no way will he have any power or any vindicator
Then will he have no might nor any helper
he will have no power, nor anyone to help him
and he will have neither strength (to defend), nor a supporter
Then man will have no power or helper.
(That day), man shall not have any strength, nor any helpers
Then man will have neither power nor any helper.
This is the Day when no one shall have power, nor find anyone to afford him help nor impede his prostration
they won’t have any power and no helper.
Then one will have neither power nor ˹any˺ helper.
And he has neither strength nor helper.
Helpless shall he be, with none to succour him
He will have no power, nor a helper

By the sky and its recurring rain
By the sky (with rain clouds) with the returning rain (again and again)
By the heaven which returneth
So I call to witness the rain-producing sky
And by the sky with its orbiters,
By Heaven with its cyclical systems
By the resurgent sky
I swear by the heaven ever-revolving (with whatever is in it and recurring patterns of rainfall)
I call to witness the clouds that rain over and over again
By heaven of the returning rain
And by the sky having the returning (rain clouds)
I (God) swear by the same sky…
By the firmament which returns
By the sky that returns.
By the heaven that sends back the rain
By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain
By the firmament possessor of the rain,
By the heaven which returneth the rain
By the Firmament which returns in its rounds
By the sky with its returning rain
I swear by the heaven which accomplisheth its cycle
The heaven possessing reemergence [of clouds and rains (is a witness, of the Majesty of its Creator)]
By the heaven possessing the returning
Consider the sky and its cycle.
By the sky which sends down rai
By the heaven with its recurring cycle of rain
By the cloud giving rain
By the sky that returns (the water in the form of rain),
By the sky, ever returning [revolving]
By the heavenly universe which will regress to its primitive state
And the sky which gives rain
Andthe sky which gives rain.
And the sky which gives rain.
And the sky/space that of the rain after rain/benefit
Consider the heavens, ever-revolving
By the heaven comprising the returning (rain) (Or: the rotating rain)
By the heaven which giveth the returning rain
By the rotating heaven
I swear by the sky that rains
By the firmament that sends back the rain,
(I swear) by the sky that repeatedly sends rain down
I swear by the firmament that sends back the rain again,
By the heaven and what it returns of condensed water vapour as rain and what it reflects of the various kinds of waves
By the sky and its repeated rain cycle,
By the sky with its recurring cycles,
By the sky with its returning objects,
By the heaven with its recurring cycles
By the sky that returns (the water)
By the sky and its cyclical system
By the sky and its cyclical system
And by the sky the possessor of the recurrences.
By the rain giving heaven, (the returning rain)

Witness is the high atmosphere that keeps returning (its water, gases and other composition)
I swear by the raingiving heavens
By the cloud which gives rain repeatedly

By the sky that returns (with rains again and again)
By the sky with the return.

وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
by the earth that cracks open
and by the earth which splits (for springs or growth of trees and plants);
And by the earth which splitteth
And the earth which opens up (with verdure)
And the earth cracked open,
and the earth with its splitting seeds,
by the furrowed earth
And by the earth, bursting (with the growth of plants)
And the earth that bursts forth (with herbage and with springs)
by earth splitting with verdure
and by the earth having the crack (for sprouting),
… that returns the water back to the earth and by the earth which opens up (by the force of the growing vegetation) that…
And by the earth which cracks open
By the earth that cracks open—
And the earth with its sprouting
And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it
and by the earth possessor of the sprouts,
and by the earth which openeth to let forth vegetables and springs
And the earth with its sprouting
and by the earth bursting with vegetation
And by the earth which openeth her bosom
and the earth, possessor of the action of splitting-up
and by the earth splitting with verdure,
Consider the earth that cracks [with the sprouting of seeds].
and by the earth which is ever bursting with new growth
and by the earth ever bursting with verdure
And the earth opening (with herbage)
and the earth that splits (due to vegetation),
And by the earth with its surface cracking open again and again with new growth of plants and vegetation
And by the earth which will split asunder (and change into dust particles)
And the land with small cracks
Andthe land with cracks.
And the land with cracks.
And the earth/Planet Earth that of the split/separation/geological rift-fault line
and the earth, bursting forth with plants
And by the earth comprising crevices (producing verdure)
And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants
and the replenishing earth
and the earth that cracks open (for plants)
And by the earth that bursts open,
And by the earth that splits (and lets plants emerge)
And by the earth that bursts open:
And by the earth which splits to allow plants to grow
and the Earth splitting open with new growth.
and the earth with its sprouting plants!
And the earth with its crevices,
and by the earth, ever bursting with new growth
By the earth that cracks (to grow plants)
and the earth which cracks open,
and the Earth which cracks open,
And the earth, the possessor of the rift.
And by the earth splitting (with plants)
by the earth ever splitting with verdure,
And witness is the earth which cracks open for springs and plants
And the earth splitting (with plants)
And by the earth which opens out with herbage
and by the furrowed earth
And by the earth which opens out (for the gushing springs or the budding plants)—
And the earth that splits open.
And the earth that cracks open
"and the earth which splits (as the plants sprout through),"
And [by] the earth which cracks open
By the earth, possessor of the splitting.
And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),

إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
This is truly a decisive statement
surely! this (Qur’an) is the Word that separates (truth from falsehood),
Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing
That this (Qur'an) is a decisive wor
Indeed, it (the Quran) is a word that separates falsity from the Truth;
it is truly a Decisive Word.

They plot and scheme
These (unbelievers) are plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad):
Verily they are plotting a plot
They are hatching up a plot
Indeed, they are planning a plot.
They are hatching a plot.
Indeed they are devising a stratagem
They (who reject it) are busy making schemes
And they (- the disbelievers) devise a device (against it)
They are devising guile
Indeed, they plot a plot
The disbelievers constantly scheme wicked plans (to discredit this Qur’an)
As for them, they are plotting a scheme
Indeed, they are plotting plots,
Verily, they do plot a plot
Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes
Indeed they are plotting a plot.
Verily the infidels are laying a plot to frustrate my designs
As for them, they do plot a scheme
They are cunningly devising

Surely, they (i.e., the hypocrites and the disbelievers) plot a stratagem (against the propagation of Al-Kitab)
Truly, they are strategizing a strategy.

These unbelievers of Mecca are plotting a scheme
They are devising a guile
Surely they plan a plan
They certainly plot a plot,
They [suppressors of Truth] are indeed hatching a plot
Indeed, they (the disbelievers) are hatching plots
They are scheming their schemes

That they truly plot/conspire a plot/conspiracy
Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]
Surely they are plotting (evil) plots
Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad
They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan
They are devising plans
They (‘Polytheists’) are but plotting an elaborate plot
They are hatching a nefarious plot
Those who (indulge in hypocrisy) are but plotting an elaborate plot
They - the infidels - in their effort to misguide people and divert them from Allah's path keep plotting and continue to scheme
They are continually plotting,
They are certainly devising ˹evil˺ plans,
For they plot a plot,
They scheme and scheme
They plot and scheme
They plot and scheme,
They plot and scheme,
Surely, they are planning a plan.
Surely they are plotting a scheme (against the truth)
They devise many an artful scheme,
(Yet) Behold, they plot and scheme (to refute the Truth (34:33))
Surely they will make a scheme

Truly they are devising a scheme
As for them (the disbelievers), they are only plotting a scheme

And I am responding to their plot with My plot!

And I am "making a scheme."
And (in return) I (too) devise a (counter) device
and I am devising guile
and I plan a plan.
The disbelievers do not realize that I (God) too have a plan of mine
But I am devising a plan
but I plot plots (as well).
But I plot my plot too
And I secretly plan
And I plot a plot.
But I will lay a plot for their ruin
But I plot my scheme too
and I am cunningly devising
And I will plot a plot against them
And I (also) plan a stratagem
And I am strategizing a strategy.
I too am plotting a scheme.
and I, too, am plotting a scheme
and I too am devising a guile
And I plan a plan
and I (too) plot a plot.
And I [Allah] am devising a plot
And I am designing My own strategy
And I scheme a scheme
AndI am planning a plan.

And I plot/conspire a plot/conspiracy
but I shall bring all their scheming to nought
And I am plotting (vengeful) plots

but I too plan against them
and I Am devising plans

But I, too, shall devise a scheme

And I -Allah- plan an unfailing scheme
and I have a plan too.

But so do I

And I am (also) planning a scheme (against them)
but I too have My schemes.
But My Law works its own Way
And I (too) will make a scheme

فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا
[Prophet], let the disbelievers be, let them be for a while
Give respite to the disbelievers. Give respite to them gently (for a while).
So respite thou the infidels - respite them gently
So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while
So, give respite to those who deny the knowledge of the reality; give them a little time.
So bear with the kafirun — bear with them for a while.
So respite the faithless; give them a gentle respite
So let the unbelievers remain at will; let them continue to remain at will for a little while
Therefore grant the disbelievers respite, yes grant them respite for a little while
So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile
So, give the disbelievers time, give them time without rushing.
In this game, the disbelievers are given enough time to ridicule themselves; so let them do their best
Therefore grant respite to the unbelievers. Give respite to them for a while
So givesg the deniers respite; respite them briefly.
let the misbelievers bide; do thou then let them bide awhile
Therefore give them some respite - give them some time
Therefore grant the disbelievers a respite and [O prophet] gently give them a respite.
Wherefore, O prophet, bear with the unbelievers: Let them alone a while
So give respite to the unbelievers; deal you gently with them for a while
Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while
Deal calmly therefore with the infidels; leave them awhile alone
So give (some) respite to the disbelievers. Provide them a temporary respite
So respite the ones who are ungrateful! Grant thou them a delay for a while.
Therefore, grant a delay to the unbelievers. Give a small respite to them.
Therefore, leave the unbelievers alone. Leave them alone for a while
So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile
So grant the disbelievers a respite -- let them alone for a while

So let those who suppress the Truth go their way; let them go for a little while
So give the disbelievers a respite (for a while, not much); let them relax a little (more)

Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while

So leave the disbelievers alone at the moment; give them respite for a while
Therefore, give respite to the ‘Polytheists’ and leave them alone for a while!
So give the unbelievers a little respite. Deal with them gently for a while
Now, therefor, grant those who are spiritually dead and blind a respite: And let them alone for a while.
And so, overlook their actions O Muhammad and give them respite; their plots will be of no avail, and Allah's purpose shall prevail
Messenger, put up with the disbelievers; let them off for a short while
So bear with the disbelievers ˹O Prophet˺. Let them be for ˹just˺ a little while.
So give those who reject (the truth) time and leave them for a while.
Therefore bear with the unbelievers, and let them be awhile
