The Cow 2:100

How is it that whenever they make a covenant or a pledge, some of them throw it away? In fact, most of them do not believe

أَوَ كُلَّمَا عَـٰهَدُوا۟ عَهۡدࣰا نَّبَذَهُۥ فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡهُمۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝١٠٠

awakullamā ʿāhadū ʿahdan nabadhahu farīqun min'hum bal aktharuhum lā yu'minūn

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

wala-in sa-altahum man khalaqa l-samāwāti wal-arḍa layaqūlunna l-lahu quli l-ḥamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum lā yaʿlamūn

If you ask them who created the heavens and earth, they are sure to say, ‘God.’ Say, ‘Praise belongs to God,’ but most of them do not understand
