ظَالِمَةٌ ẓālimatun

ثُمَّ thumma
Then Prep
أَخَذْتُهَا akhadhtuhā
I seized it V
وَإِلَىَّ wa-ilayya
and to Me Prep
ٱلْمَصِيرُ l-maṣīru
(is) the destination Noun

To many a town steeped in wrongdoing I gave more time and then struck them down: they all return to Me in the end

وَكَأَیِّن مِّن قَرۡیَةٍ أَمۡلَیۡتُ لَهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةࣱ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهَا وَإِلَیَّ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ۝٤٨

waka-ayyin min qaryatin amlaytu lahā wahiya ẓālimatun thumma akhadhtuhā wa-ilayya l-maṣīr
