Cattle, Livestock 6:111

أَنَّنَا annanā

نَزَّلْنَآ nazzalnā

إِلَيْهِمُ ilayhimu

ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ l-malāikata
the Angels Noun
وَكَلَّمَهُمُ wakallamahumu
and spoken to them V
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ l-mawtā
the dead Noun
وَحَشَرْنَا waḥasharnā
and We gathered V
عَلَيْهِمْ ʿalayhim
before them Prep
كُلَّ kulla
every Noun
شَىْءٍ shayin
thing Noun
قُبُلًا qubulan
face to face Noun
مَّا mā
not Prep
كَانُوا۟ kānū
they were V
لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ liyu'minū
to believe V
إِلَّآ illā
unless Prep
أَن an
[that] Prep
يَشَآءَ yashāa
wills V
ٱللَّهُ l-lahu
Allah Noun
وَلَٰكِنَّ walākinna
But Prep
أَكْثَرَهُمْ aktharahum
most of them Noun
يَجْهَلُونَ yajhalūna
(are) ignorant V

Even if We sent the angels down to them, and the dead spoke to them, and We gathered all things right in front of them, they still would not believe, unless God so willed, but most of them are ignorant [of this]

۞ وَلَوۡ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَحَشَرۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲ قُبُلࣰا مَّا كَانُوا۟ لِیُؤۡمِنُوۤا۟ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَشَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ یَجۡهَلُونَ ۝١١١

walaw annanā nazzalnā ilayhimu l-malāikata wakallamahumu l-mawtā waḥasharnā ʿalayhim kulla shayin qubulan mā kānū liyu'minū illā an yashāa l-lahu walākinna aktharahum yajhalūn
