رَّجَعْنَآ rajaʿnā

لَيُخْرِجَنَّ layukh'rijanna

ٱلْأَعَزُّ l-aʿazu

مِنْهَا min'hā

ٱلْأَذَلَّ l-adhala
the more humble Noun
وَلِلَّهِ walillahi
But for Allah Noun
ٱلْعِزَّةُ l-ʿizatu
(is) the honor Noun
وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ walirasūlihi
and for His Messenger Noun
وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ walil'mu'minīna
and for the believers Noun
وَلَٰكِنَّ walākinna
but Prep
ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ l-munāfiqīna
the hypocrites Noun
لَا lā
(do) not Prep
يَعْلَمُونَ yaʿlamūna
know V

They say, ‘Once we return to Medina the powerful will drive out the weak,’ but power belongs to God, to His Messenger, and to the believers, though the hypocrites do not know this

یَقُولُونَ لَىِٕن رَّجَعۡنَاۤ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِینَةِ لَیُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ ۝٨

yaqūlūna la-in rajaʿnā ilā l-madīnati layukh'rijanna l-aʿazu min'hā l-adhala walillahi l-ʿizatu walirasūlihi walil'mu'minīna walākinna l-munāfiqīna lā yaʿlamūn
