The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:136

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا fa-intaqamnā
So We took retribution V
مِنْهُمْ min'hum
from them Prep
فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ fa-aghraqnāhum
and We drowned them V
فِى fī

ٱلْيَمِّ l-yami
the sea Noun
بِأَنَّهُمْ bi-annahum
because they Prep
كَذَّبُوا۟ kadhabū
denied V
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا biāyātinā
Our Signs Noun
وَكَانُوا۟ wakānū
and they were V
عَنْهَا ʿanhā
to them Prep
غَٰفِلِينَ ghāfilīna
heedless Noun

And so, because they rejected Our signs and paid them no heed, We exacted retribution from them: We drowned them in the se

فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡیَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ عَنۡهَا غَـٰفِلِینَ ۝١٣٦

fa-intaqamnā min'hum fa-aghraqnāhum fī l-yami bi-annahum kadhabū biāyātinā wakānū ʿanhā ghāfilīn
