The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:137

And We made inheritors V
ٱلْقَوْمَ l-qawma

مَشَٰرِقَ mashāriqa

ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi

وَمَغَٰرِبَهَا wamaghāribahā

ٱلَّتِى allatī

بَٰرَكْنَا bāraknā
We blessed V
فِيهَا fīhā

وَتَمَّتْ watammat
And was fulfilled V
كَلِمَتُ kalimatu

رَبِّكَ rabbika

ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ l-ḥus'nā

عَلَىٰ ʿalā

بَنِىٓ banī

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ is'rāīla
(of) Israel Noun
بِمَا bimā
because Prep
صَبَرُوا۟ ṣabarū
they were patient V
وَدَمَّرْنَا wadammarnā
And We destroyed V
مَا mā
what Noun
كَانَ kāna
used to V
يَصْنَعُ yaṣnaʿu
make V
فِرْعَوْنُ fir'ʿawnu
Firaun Noun
وَقَوْمُهُۥ waqawmuhu
and his people Noun
وَمَا wamā
and what Noun
كَانُوا۟ kānū
they used to V
يَعْرِشُونَ yaʿrishūna
erect V

and We made those who had been oppressed succeed to both the east and the west of the land that We had blessed. Your Lord’s good promise to the Children of Israel was fulfilled, because of their patience, and We destroyed what Pharaoh and his people were making and what they were building

وَأَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَانُوا۟ یُسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ مَشَـٰرِقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَغَـٰرِبَهَا ٱلَّتِی بَـٰرَكۡنَا فِیهَاۖ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ۖ وَدَمَّرۡنَا مَا كَانَ یَصۡنَعُ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَقَوۡمُهُۥ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡرِشُونَ ۝١٣٧

wa-awrathnā l-qawma alladhīna kānū yus'taḍʿafūna mashāriqa l-arḍi wamaghāribahā allatī bāraknā fīhā watammat kalimatu rabbika l-ḥus'nā ʿalā banī is'rāīla bimā ṣabarū wadammarnā mā kāna yaṣnaʿu fir'ʿawnu waqawmuhu wamā kānū yaʿrishūn
