فَأَلۡقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِیَ ثُعۡبَانࣱ مُّبِینࣱ ۝١٠٧
fa-alqā ʿaṣāhu fa-idhā hiya thuʿ'bānun mubīnu
64 Translations
So Moses threw his staff and- lo and behold!- it was a snake, clear to all
Then (Moses) threw his staff and instantly it became a real serpent!
Thereupon he cast down his rod, when, lo it was a serpent manifest
At this Moses threw down his staff, and lo, it became a live serpent
(Upon this) Moses released his staff, and suddenly the staff appeared as a serpent!
So He threw down his staff and there it was, unmistakably a snake.
Thereat he threw down his staff, and behold, it became a manifest python
Then he (Moses) threw down his staff, and thereupon it was a serpent manifest (clear for all to see as a sign)
So he (- Moses) flung down his staff, and behold! it was a serpent, plainly visible
