that We may make them taste V
عَذَابَ ʿadhāba

ٱلْخِزْىِ l-khiz'yi
(of) disgrace Noun
فِى fī
in Prep
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ l-ḥayati
the life Noun
ٱلدُّنْيَا l-dun'yā

وَلَعَذَابُ walaʿadhābu
And surely, (the) punishment Noun
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ l-ākhirati
(of) the Hereafter Noun
أَخْزَىٰ akhzā
(is) more disgracing Noun
وَهُمْ wahum

لَا lā
will not be helped Prep
يُنصَرُونَ yunṣarūna
will not be helped V

so We let a roaring wind loose on them for a few disastrous days to make them taste the punishment of shame in this world; more shameful still will be the punishment of the life to come, and they will not be helped

فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ رِیحࣰا صَرۡصَرࣰا فِیۤ أَیَّامࣲ نَّحِسَاتࣲ لِّنُذِیقَهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخِزۡیِ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ أَخۡزَىٰۖ وَهُمۡ لَا یُنصَرُونَ ۝١٦

fa-arsalnā ʿalayhim rīḥan ṣarṣaran fī ayyāmin naḥisātin linudhīqahum ʿadhāba l-khiz'yi fī l-ḥayati l-dun'yā walaʿadhābu l-ākhirati akhzā wahum lā yunṣarūn
