بِأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ bi-abṣārihim

لَمَّا lammā

سَمِعُوا۟ samiʿū
they hear V
ٱلذِّكْرَ l-dhik'ra
the Message Noun
وَيَقُولُونَ wayaqūlūna
and they say V
إِنَّهُۥ innahu
Indeed, he Prep
لَمَجْنُونٌ lamajnūnun
(is) surely mad Noun

The disbelievers almost strike you down with their looks when they hear the Quran. They say, ‘He must be mad!’

وَإِن یَكَادُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَیُزۡلِقُونَكَ بِأَبۡصَـٰرِهِمۡ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا۟ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَیَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجۡنُونࣱ ۝٥١

wa-in yakādu alladhīna kafarū layuz'liqūnaka bi-abṣārihim lammā samiʿū l-dhik'ra wayaqūlūna innahu lamajnūnu
