The Spoils of War 8:26

يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ yatakhaṭṭafakumu

ٱلنَّاسُ l-nāsu

فَـَٔاوَىٰكُمْ faāwākum
then He sheltered you V
وَأَيَّدَكُم wa-ayyadakum
and strengthened you V
بِنَصْرِهِۦ binaṣrihi
with His help Noun
وَرَزَقَكُم warazaqakum
and provided you V
مِّنَ mina
of Prep
ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ l-ṭayibāti
the good things Noun
لَعَلَّكُمْ laʿallakum
so that you may Prep
تَشْكُرُونَ tashkurūna
(be) thankful V

Remember when you were few, victimized in the land, afraid that people might catch you, but God sheltered you and strengthened you with His help, and provided you with good things so that you might be grateful

وَٱذۡكُرُوۤا۟ إِذۡ أَنتُمۡ قَلِیلࣱ مُّسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن یَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ ٱلنَّاسُ فَءَاوَىٰكُمۡ وَأَیَّدَكُم بِنَصۡرِهِۦ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّیِّبَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ۝٢٦

wa-udh'kurū idh antum qalīlun mus'taḍʿafūna fī l-arḍi takhāfūna an yatakhaṭṭafakumu l-nāsu faāwākum wa-ayyadakum binaṣrihi warazaqakum mina l-ṭayibāti laʿallakum tashkurūn
