وَٱللَّهُ یَدۡعُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ دَارِ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ وَیَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٢٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight pat
Abdel Haleem: But God invites [everyone] to the Home of Peace, and guides whoever He will to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And Allah summoneth to the abode of peace, and leadeth whom He will to a straight path
Hud 11:56 Noun
إِنِّی تَوَكَّلۡتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّی وَرَبِّكُمۚ مَّا مِن دَاۤبَّةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ ءَاخِذُۢ بِنَاصِیَتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ رَبِّی عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٥٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Indeed, I have relied upon Allah , my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but that He holds its forelock. Indeed, my Lord is on a path [that is] straight."
Abdel Haleem: I put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord. There is no moving creature which He does not control. My Lord’s way is straight
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Lo! I have put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Not an animal but He doth grasp it by the forelock! Lo! my Lord is on a straight path
Abraham 14:1 Noun
الۤرۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ إِلَیۡكَ لِتُخۡرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ ۝١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy
Abdel Haleem: Alif Lam Ra This is a Scripture which We have sent down to you [Prophet] so that, with their Lord’s permission, you may bring people from the depths of darkness into light, to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy One
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Alif. Lam. Ra. (This is) a Scripture which We have revealed unto thee (Muhammad) that thereby thou mayst bring forth mankind from darkness unto light, by the permission of their Lord, unto the path of the Mighty, the Owner of Praise
The Rock, Stoneland, Rock City 15:41 Noun
قَالَ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطٌ عَلَیَّ مُسۡتَقِیمٌ ۝٤١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): [ Allah ] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight
Abdel Haleem: God said, ‘[Devotion] is a straight path to Me
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: He said: This is a right course incumbent upon Me
The Bee 16:121 Noun
شَاكِرࣰا لِّأَنۡعُمِهِۚ ٱجۡتَبَىٰهُ وَهَدَىٰهُ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝١٢١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): [He was] grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: he was thankful for the blessings of God who chose him and guided him to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Thankful for His bounties; He chose him and He guided him unto a straight path
The Bee 16:76 Noun
وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلࣰا رَّجُلَیۡنِ أَحَدُهُمَاۤ أَبۡكَمُ لَا یَقۡدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوۡلَىٰهُ أَیۡنَمَا یُوَجِّههُّ لَا یَأۡتِ بِخَیۡرٍ هَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی هُوَ وَمَن یَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٧٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And Allah presents an example of two men, one of them dumb and unable to do a thing, while he is a burden to his guardian. Wherever he directs him, he brings no good. Is he equal to one who commands justice, while he is on a straight path
Abdel Haleem: God presents another illustration: two men, one of them dumb, unable to do anything, a burden to his carer- whatever task he directs him to, he achieves nothing good- can he be considered equal to one who commands justice and is on the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And Allah coineth a similitude: Two men, one of them dumb, having control of nothing, and he is a burden on his owner; whithersoever he directeth him to go, he bringeth no good. Is he equal with one who enjoineth justice and followeth a straight path (of conduct)
Mary 19:36 Noun
وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّی وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ ۝٣٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): [Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path."
Abdel Haleem: ‘God is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him: that is a straight path.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. That is the right path
Mary 19:43 Noun
یَـٰۤأَبَتِ إِنِّی قَدۡ جَاۤءَنِی مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ یَأۡتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعۡنِیۤ أَهۡدِكَ صِرَ ٰطࣰا سَوِیࣰّا ۝٤٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path
Abdel Haleem: Father, knowledge that has not reached you has come to me, so follow me: I will guide you to an even path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: O my father! Lo! there hath come unto me of knowledge that which came not unto thee. So follow me, and I will lead thee on a right path
The Opening 1:6 Noun
ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَ ٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ ۝٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Guide us to the straight path
Abdel Haleem: Guide us to the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Show us the straight path
The Opening 1:7 Noun
صِرَ ٰطَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ غَیۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّاۤلِّینَ ۝٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray
Abdel Haleem: the path of those You have blessed, those who incur no anger and who have not gone astray
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray
Ta Ha 20:135 Noun
قُلۡ كُلࣱّ مُّتَرَبِّصࣱ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطِ ٱلسَّوِیِّ وَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ ۝١٣٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Say, "Each [of us] is waiting; so wait. For you will know who are the companions of the sound path and who is guided."
Abdel Haleem: [Prophet], say, ‘We are all waiting, so you carry on waiting: you will come to learn who has followed the even path, and been rightly guided.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Say: Each is awaiting; so await ye! Ye will come to know who are the owners of the path of equity, and who is right
The Pilgrimage 22:24 Noun
وَهُدُوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّیِّبِ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَهُدُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ ۝٢٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the Praiseworthy
Abdel Haleem: They were guided to good speech and to the path of the One Worthy of all Praise
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: They are guided unto gentle speech; they are guided unto the path of the Glorious One
The Pilgrimage 22:54 Noun
وَلِیَعۡلَمَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَیُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتُخۡبِتَ لَهُۥ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهَادِ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٥٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is Allah the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: and He causes those given knowledge to realize that this Revelation is your Lord’s Truth, so that they may believe in it and humble their hearts to Him: God guides the faithful to the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from thy Lord, so that they may believe therein and their hearts may submit humbly unto Him. Lo! Allah verily is guiding those who believe unto a right path
The Believers 23:73 Noun
وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٧٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And indeed, you invite them to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: You call them to a straight pat
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path
The Believers 23:74 Noun
وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ عَنِ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطِ لَنَـٰكِبُونَ ۝٧٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path
Abdel Haleem: and those who do not believe in the Hereafter turn away from that path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path
The Light 24:46 Noun
لَّقَدۡ أَنزَلۡنَاۤ ءَایَـٰتࣲ مُّبَیِّنَـٰتࣲۚ وَٱللَّهُ یَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٤٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): We have certainly sent down distinct verses. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: We have sent verses that clarify the right path: God guides whoever He will to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Verily We have sent down revelations and explained them. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path
The Cow 2:142 Noun
۞ سَیَقُولُ ٱلسُّفَهَاۤءُ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَا وَلَّىٰهُمۡ عَن قِبۡلَتِهِمُ ٱلَّتِی كَانُوا۟ عَلَیۡهَاۚ قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقُ وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبُۚ یَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝١٤٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): The foolish among the people will say, "What has turned them away from their qiblah, which they used to face?" Say, "To Allah belongs the east and the west. He guides whom He wills to a straight path."
Abdel Haleem: The foolish people will say, ‘What has turned them away from the prayer direction they used to face?’ Say, ‘East and West belong to God. He guides whoever He will to the right way.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: The foolish of the people will say: What hath turned them from the qiblah which they formerly observed? Say: Unto Allah belong the East and the West. He guideth whom He will unto a straight path
The Cow 2:213 Noun
كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِیِّـۧنَ مُبَشِّرِینَ وَمُنذِرِینَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِیَحۡكُمَ بَیۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فِیمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوا۟ فِیهِۚ وَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفَ فِیهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوهُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَاۤءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتُ بَغۡیَۢا بَیۡنَهُمۡۖ فَهَدَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوا۟ فِیهِ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ بِإِذۡنِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ یَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمٍ ۝٢١٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: Mankind was a single community, then God sent prophets to bring good news and warning, and with them He sent the Scripture with the Truth, to judge between people in their disagreements. It was only those to whom it was given who disagreed about it after clear signs had come to them, because of rivalry between them. So by His leave God guided the believers to the truth they had differed about: God guides whoever He will to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Scripture with the truth that it might judge between mankind concerning that wherein they differed. And only those unto whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come unto them, through hatred one of another. And Allah by His Will guided those who believe unto the truth of that concerning which they differed. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path
Saba, Sheba 34:6 Noun
وَیَرَى ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَیَهۡدِیۤ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ ۝٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy
Abdel Haleem: [Prophet], those who have been given knowledge can see that what has been sent to you from your Lord is the truth, and that it leads to the path of the Almighty, worthy of all praise
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the truth and leadeth unto the path of the Mighty, the Owner of Praise
Ya Sin, Ya-Seen 36:4 Noun
عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): On a straight path
Abdel Haleem: on a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: On a straight path
Ya Sin, Ya-Seen 36:61 Noun
وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِیۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ ۝٦١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path
Abdel Haleem: but to serve Me? This is the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: But that ye worship Me? That was the right path
Ya Sin, Ya-Seen 36:66 Noun
وَلَوۡ نَشَاۤءُ لَطَمَسۡنَا عَلَىٰۤ أَعۡیُنِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ یُبۡصِرُونَ ۝٦٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see
Abdel Haleem: If it had been Our will, We could have taken away their sight. They would have struggled to find the way, but how could they have seen it
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen
Those Who Set The Ranks, Drawn up in Ranks, The Rangers 37:118 Noun
وَهَدَیۡنَـٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَ ٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ ۝١١٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And We guided them on the straight path
Abdel Haleem: We guided them to the right path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And showed them the right path
Those Who Set The Ranks, Drawn up in Ranks, The Rangers 37:23 Noun
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ۝٢٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Other than Allah , and guide them to the path of Hellfir
Abdel Haleem: beside God, lead them all to the path of Hell
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell
The Letter Sad 38:22 Noun
إِذۡ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ فَٱحۡكُم بَیۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَاۤ إِلَىٰ سَوَاۤءِ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطِ ۝٢٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path
Abdel Haleem: When they reached David, he took fright, but they said, ‘Do not be afraid. We are two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other: judge between us fairly- do not be unjust- and guide us to the right path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: How they burst in upon David, and he was afraid of them. They said: Be not afraid! (We are) two litigants, one of whom hath wronged the other, therefor judge aright between us; be not unjust; and show us the fair way
The Family of Imran, The House of Imran 3:101 Noun
وَكَیۡفَ تَكۡفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمۡ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ ءَایَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ وَفِیكُمۡ رَسُولُهُۥۗ وَمَن یَعۡتَصِم بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ هُدِیَ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝١٠١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [indeed] been guided to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: How can you disbelieve when God’s revelations are being recited to you and His Messenger is living among you? Whoever holds fast to God will be guided to the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: How can ye disbelieve, when it is ye unto whom Allah's revelations are recited, and His messenger is in your midst? He who holdeth fast to Allah, he indeed is guided unto a right path
The Family of Imran, The House of Imran 3:51 Noun
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّی وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ ۝٥١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path."
Abdel Haleem: God is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him- that is a straight path.”’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path
Council, Consultation, The Counsel 42:52 Noun
وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ رُوحࣰا مِّنۡ أَمۡرِنَاۚ مَا كُنتَ تَدۡرِی مَا ٱلۡكِتَـٰبُ وَلَا ٱلۡإِیمَـٰنُ وَلَـٰكِن جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ نُورࣰا نَّهۡدِی بِهِۦ مَن نَّشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهۡدِیۤ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٥٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: So We have revealed a spirit to you [Prophet] by Our command: you knew neither the Scripture nor the faith, but We made it a light, guiding with it whoever We will of Our servants. You give guidance to the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And thus have We inspired in thee (Muhammad) a Spirit of Our command. Thou knewest not what the Scripture was, nor what the Faith. But We have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. And lo! thou verily dost guide unto a right path
Council, Consultation, The Counsel 42:53 Noun
صِرَ ٰطِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِی لَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ أَلَاۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تَصِیرُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ ۝٥٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): The path of Allah , to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Unquestionably, to Allah do [all] matters evolve
Abdel Haleem: the path of God, to whom belongs all that is in the heavens and earth: truly everything will return to God
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: The path of Allah, unto Whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Do not all things reach Allah at last
Ornaments of Gold, Luxury, The Embellishment 43:43 Noun
فَٱسۡتَمۡسِكۡ بِٱلَّذِیۤ أُوحِیَ إِلَیۡكَۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٤٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path
Abdel Haleem: Hold fast to what has been revealed to you- you truly are on the right path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: So hold thou fast to that which is inspired in thee. Lo! thou art on a right path

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلۡمࣱ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمۡتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ ۝٦١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path
Abdel Haleem: This [Quran] gives knowledge of the Hour: do not doubt it. Follow Me for this is the right path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And lo! verily there is knowledge of the Hour. So doubt ye not concerning it, but follow Me. This is the right path
Ornaments of Gold, Luxury, The Embellishment 43:64 Noun
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّی وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ ۝٦٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."
Abdel Haleem: God is my Lord and your Lord. Serve Him: this is the straight path.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a right path
Victory, Conquest 48:2 Noun
لِّیَغۡفِرَ لَكَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنۢبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَیُتِمَّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكَ وَیَهۡدِیَكَ صِرَ ٰطࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا ۝٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight pat
Abdel Haleem: so that God may forgive you your past and future sins, complete His grace upon you, guide you to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: That Allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect His favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path
Victory, Conquest 48:20 Noun
وَعَدَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِیرَةࣰ تَأۡخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمۡ هَـٰذِهِۦ وَكَفَّ أَیۡدِیَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَنكُمۡ وَلِتَكُونَ ءَایَةࣰ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَیَهۡدِیَكُمۡ صِرَ ٰطࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا ۝٢٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Allah has promised you much booty that you will take [in the future] and has hastened for you this [victory] and withheld the hands of people from you - that it may be a sign for the believers and [that] He may guide you to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: He has promised you [people] many future gains: He has hastened this gain for you. He has held back the hands of hostile people from you as a sign for the faithful and He will guide you to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Allah promiseth you much booty that ye will capture, and hath given you this in advance, and hath withheld men's hands from you, that it may be a token for the believers, and that He may guide you on a right path
Women 4:175 Noun
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱعۡتَصَمُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَسَیُدۡخِلُهُمۡ فِی رَحۡمَةࣲ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلࣲ وَیَهۡدِیهِمۡ إِلَیۡهِ صِرَ ٰطࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا ۝١٧٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): So those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him - He will admit them to mercy from Himself and bounty and guide them to Himself on a straight path
Abdel Haleem: God will admit those who believe in Him and hold fast to Him into His mercy and favour; He will guide them towards Him on a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: As for those who believe in Allah, and hold fast unto Him, them He will cause to enter into His mercy and grace, and will guide them unto Him by a straight road
Women 4:68 Noun
وَلَهَدَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ صِرَ ٰطࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا ۝٦٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And We would have guided them to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: and guided them to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And should guide them unto a straight path
The Table, The Table Spread 5:16 Noun
یَهۡدِی بِهِ ٱللَّهُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَ ٰنَهُۥ سُبُلَ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ وَیُخۡرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِهِۦ وَیَهۡدِیهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝١٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: with which God guides to the ways of peace those who follow what pleases Him, bringing them from darkness out into light, by His will, and guiding them to a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Whereby Allah guideth him who seeketh His good pleasure unto paths of peace. He bringeth them out of darkness unto light by His decree, and guideth them unto a straight path
The Sovereignty, Control, The Kingdom 67:22 Noun
أَفَمَن یَمۡشِی مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦۤ أَهۡدَىٰۤ أَمَّن یَمۡشِی سَوِیًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٢٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path
Abdel Haleem: Who is better guided: someone who falls on his face, or someone who walks steadily on a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a straight road
Cattle, Livestock 6:126 Noun
وَهَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطُ رَبِّكَ مُسۡتَقِیمࣰاۗ قَدۡ فَصَّلۡنَا ٱلۡءَایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَذَّكَّرُونَ ۝١٢٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight. We have detailed the verses for a people who remember
Abdel Haleem: [Prophet], this is the path of your Lord, made perfectly straight. We have explained Our revelations to those who take heed
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: This is the path of thy Lord, a straight path. We have detailed Our revelations for a people who take heed
Cattle, Livestock 6:153 Noun
وَأَنَّ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطِی مُسۡتَقِیمࣰا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِیلِهِۦۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ ۝١٥٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous
Abdel Haleem: this is My path, leading straight, so follow it, and do not follow other ways: they will lead you away from it- ‘ This is what He commands you to do, so that you may refrain from wrongdoing.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And (He commandeth you, saying): This is My straight path, so follow it. Follow not other ways, lest ye be parted from His way. This hath He ordained for you, that ye may ward off (evil)
Cattle, Livestock 6:161 Noun
قُلۡ إِنَّنِی هَدَىٰنِی رَبِّیۤ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ دِینࣰا قِیَمࣰا مِّلَّةَ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ حَنِیفࣰاۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ ۝١٦١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allah ."
Abdel Haleem: Say, ‘My Lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright religion, the faith of Abraham, a man of pure faith. He was not a polytheist.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Say: Lo! As for me, my Lord hath guided me unto a straight path, a right religion, the community of Abraham, the upright, who was no idolater
Cattle, Livestock 6:39 Noun
وَٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا صُمࣱّ وَبُكۡمࣱ فِی ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِۗ مَن یَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ یُضۡلِلۡهُ وَمَن یَشَأۡ یَجۡعَلۡهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٣٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): But those who deny Our verses are deaf and dumb within darknesses. Whomever Allah wills - He leaves astray; and whomever He wills - He puts him on a straight path
Abdel Haleem: Those who reject Our signs are deaf, dumb, and in total darkness. God leaves whoever He will to stray, and sets whoever He will on a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Those who deny Our revelations are deaf and dumb in darkness. Whom Allah will sendeth astray, and whom He will He placeth on a straight path
Cattle, Livestock 6:87 Noun
وَمِنۡ ءَابَاۤىِٕهِمۡ وَذُرِّیَّـٰتِهِمۡ وَإِخۡوَ ٰنِهِمۡۖ وَٱجۡتَبَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَهَدَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٨٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers - and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path
Abdel Haleem: and also some of their forefathers, their offspring, and their brothers: We chose them and guided them on a straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: With some of their forefathers and their offspring and their brethren; and We chose them and guided them unto a straight path
The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:16 Noun
قَالَ فَبِمَاۤ أَغۡوَیۡتَنِی لَأَقۡعُدَنَّ لَهُمۡ صِرَ ٰطَكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ ۝١٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): [Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path
Abdel Haleem: And then Iblis said, ‘Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lie in wait for them all on Your straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: He said: Now, because Thou hast sent me astray, verily I shall lurk in ambush for them on Thy Right Path
The Heights, The Elevated Places 7:86 Noun
وَلَا تَقۡعُدُوا۟ بِكُلِّ صِرَ ٰطࣲ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَتَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجࣰاۚ وَٱذۡكُرُوۤا۟ إِذۡ كُنتُمۡ قَلِیلࣰا فَكَثَّرَكُمۡۖ وَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِینَ ۝٨٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And do not sit on every path, threatening and averting from the way of Allah those who believe in Him, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. And remember when you were few and He increased you. And see how was the end of the corrupters
Abdel Haleem: Do not sit in every pathway, threatening and barring those who believe in God from His way, trying to make it crooked. Remember how you used to be few and He made you multiply. Think about the fate of those who used to spread corruption
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Lurk not on every road to threaten (wayfarers), and to turn away from Allah's path him who believeth in Him, and to seek to make it crooked. And remember, when ye were but few, how He did multiply you. And see the nature of the consequence for the corrupters
